It says the ski is located in Southern California so I lied and said I live in Southern California and that I would drive any amount of distance to pay with cash so he could save money on shipping and receive cash in hand. I always do that to the scammers then they come back with some BS excuse...
I ended up using Marine Tex on mine and it is very strong.
Just be sure to fish out the two metal plates that are between the styrofoam and fiberglass. These backing plates are in the base on the bottom and top of the handlepole. They provide a good backing for when you...
Does anyone know what Paul (LPW) uses on his ski's? His buildoff ski has some orange clear cooling lines. I recently saw my buddies ski who was worked on by Paul and his ski has some of the same cooling lines. After seeing it up close on my buddies ski I realized the line is actually very thin...
Holy crap! After reading this thread I am completely enraged.:banghead: :aargh4:
Has this a$$hole not refunded your money yet? Something needs to be done about this guy. I wish I lived in So Fla cuz I'd pay this guy a visit for ya.
Has ebay said anything about your claim? If you don't...
I just picked up a new one of those off of godocgo. I wasn't sure whether they were any good or not. I like the idea of it being plastic and easily replaceable. How does it run though? Do you notice any difference between a plastic wear ring and a SS wear ring?
Has anyone else seen this SJ to "SXR Style" railcap conversion on ebay:

It also looks like they sell an aftermarket hood/nosepiece/handlepole...
Hey bro I'm not trying to call you out, but you are preaching about how it's all about having fun and it doesn't matter what you ride. If that was the case then you should careless about how a square looks.
My first standup was a squarenose and yeah it didn't look that great, but it was still...
Hey crab you should shorten your handlepole. It will help keep the nose down in the air when hitting waves in the surf. It's gonna keep you from always landing on your back like I saw in the picture and the jump in the video.
I gotcha. I don't think you could go wrong with either. I've tried the WCF's and liked them a lot, but I haven't had the chance to try the REV's yet.
Well we took a small screwdriver and were able to chip away at the corrosion on the inside. Unfortunately it's going to take forever so Im going riding, but once I have the time I know I can get it free by scraping out the corrosion between the bolts and holes.
What do you all think about this?
I'll ride today without the nuts on there and maybe all the vibrating could help bust in loose. I know it's a long shot.
Yeah I bought the ski as a mint stock ski and I'm pretty sure the ebox has never been out of the ski and this is my first time trying to get into it. :banghead: I'll definitely have to stay on top of it here on out though.
