no degree man. i worked in the shop first as a fitter and welder and they wanted someone who knew what they were quoting instead of someone with a degree that had never built any of it.

that would definately be considered if i didnt have a wife and kid, my wife cant be away from me for more than a couple of days as corny as that sounds.

i heard that if you know someone in ups they can get you through the loading stage usually in a couple of months. but then again i dont work there so i dont know how true that is.
