Try out www.searchtempest.com its a Craigslist search engine. For a 701 SJ square that runs I think you'll be in the 1200-1800 range, probably 900-1500 for a 650. You'll find more of those, but I would keep a look out for a SJ with a 701 in it... 650's get old quick. For a Round nose SJ...

Everything everyone said is spot on. A stock SJ is kinda "ehh" on power vs an SXR, but from what i've experienced, SXR's are tanks.... that can carve LOL. Defintely try to find something thats been modded... you'll save a lot of money. Hope you get to check out that freeride, sounds like a blast.

Yep... i did a pressure test after that go-around and it passed. I rode it all day Sunday and no free rev/ run away symptoms exibited. *edit* minus the ever present bog. I left it at the repair place, its Dales Jet Sports, some of you may know of them. I should know something in a few weeks...
