X2 No advantage to internal fuel, unless you do hood tricks/ fountains. The external gas cap isn't comfortable to sit/slide on, and shorts get caught on it. Some on here have learned that internal filling can lead to gas spills and fires/explosions.

Right on Bruceski. Last motor I shipped was surrounded by 2-part foam and styrofoam blocks. Not taking any chances. Add 1 more motor to UPS's failures. A friend got a GP1200r motor that they dropped and broke the cases a few months back. They denied his claim, too.
