    Running carbs pumpside in?

The REAL reason We(standups riders) normally run them pump side out is that there is a very real chance of blocking the vent to atmosphere hole with the rear exhaust hose if they're run in the pump side in orientation. Standups aren't capable of turning hard enough to experience much of the left...

will gas prices effect how often you ride this year?

I just go ahead and buy 5 drums at the beginning of the season and get it over with. That way all you have to do is pump gas and it's already paid for and doesn't hurt each time you fill up. It'll last forever in sealed metal drums, so if you have any left at the end of the year you're already...

will gas prices effect how often you ride this year?

With as many hours as you get from a tank of fuel on your boat you should be able to ride for the whole summer for about 50 bucks.:wall:

How do you know for sure what he has for powertrain in that boat? More importantly, who did his motor work and set everything up? There can be very big differences in power output based on who builds the motor.

    68mph superjet!

I don't know about that........ definitely do-able on a 62t based motor. I've seen 62-64(GPS)regularly w/B pipe. Tricky has some boats that would do it if propped for it. I agree. Mid 60's isn't that bad on a SJ on water w/a slight wind to take the glass off of it.

Need some input on a couple of ride plates

For anything other than flatwater backflip attempts the shredmaster works VERY well. The grate that's built in is a nice design. It actually works awesome in the surf. It carves very well, but will still slide if that's what you want. Bob at Shredmaster is a nice guy too.

Bad Azz exercise toy in Montgomery

Anyone that thinks I actually paid $6600 for my bike is crazy. It's actually a 2007 bike and it's 3 months old and essentially hasn't been ridden. I didn't pay what he had it listed for either. It will be ridden in about two hours. I'm heading to Oak Mtn in a minute.:nana: The EX is cool...

If going really slow makes them catch on fire, then I'm gonna set them on fire. I WILL be riding Monday. Maybe I can get Jarod out there f he isn't working.

    Who Mountain Bikes for exercise?

Me and Derek(bmxboy864) have started back riding in the last month or so. We've been using mine and my wife's proflex FS bikes. They're a bit dated now, but still work pretty well. I just bought a trek today and it probably won't make me any faster, but it sure is cool. I had forgotten how...

    760 with 35 cc domes

I'm assuming this is for performance and not safety. If this chart is accurate, the stock CDI would be safer on iffy gas.

Where's he going? For a whole month? That's a long time. I don't think I could sleep at night knowing I had a motor almost finished. I would go crazy.

This quote from a thread nikad actually started is what takes the cake for me. Lecturing others on selling/buying etiquette......:ugh2: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/15929

    24-7 backflip 7mm lamey build

I agree and understand completely. I don't ride to "get better" or improve my skills. I ride simply because it's fun. Other than bragging rights, it's not competitive for me. I don't believe anyone who says they would not take more power if they could have it. It may not even be money...

I'd be more concerned with just getting the motor done than doing backflips. The MSD TL will help for sure.:smokin: Good stuff!

I agree. The 1000 is barely doing it in a lightweight hull.
