The stock nozzle is 81ish mm. You can find metal reduction nozzles from other yamaha boats that are 83ish, but not on superjets.

Another thing is that in the description it said it had been run a couple of hours on the dyno. With all the mention of Westcoast parts that could be true. Westcoast actually had a dyno.:wink:

A well built race motor will hit harder and run better than a lot of so called freestyle motors. You may find that it works well.

The filter will take care of that. The best filter to use is the one that FPP uses. It's a self cleaning ECWI filter. You will not get clogs with it. You can see the little pancake shaped filter in my pic. Never had any troubles using those either.

That has nothing to do with the size of the orifice through which the water is sprayed. A small difference in orifice size can make a big difference. The jets allow you to adjust the amount of water sprayed while the solenoid is open. Your adjustment only controls when it's open. Not how...

I agree w/Koko. If the solenoid is mounted rigidly, the valve can be shaken open(or break). I always mount mine as close to the sprayer as possible. The solenoid is only open for a fraction of a second so any delay in water delivery makes the ECWI less effective. You may also want to tap the...
