550 Winter Project - 750 Pump Swap and Engine Questions

I have 3 build threads of my 550 on pwctoday.com if you want some references of doing the job. Might help you on your build. I've definitely used others build threads to help with doing my skis in the past especially withmy most current ski build. The 550 was my first ski and a good ski to learn...

Superfreak badass restoration-"make superfreaks great again"

I found several long bolts from a stock pump however this is a kavinci 148 mag and thr stock bolts are not quite long enough unfortunately. I mean 3 of 4 is good enough right? Haha

Superfreak badass restoration-"make superfreaks great again"

Unfortunately not this time. None of my group is going and there's waves this weekend as well as a free place to stay. I've spent most of the day trying to round up parts to finish this ski such as hoses, random things like that. Started taking the sj apart to discover the intake grate fell off...

550 Winter Project - 750 Pump Swap and Engine Questions

I'd totally skip rebuilding the 550pp engine. Go right to the 750 small pin. With the 750 pump, go with a hooker 10/16. At the end of the day, all the work you put into it, it's still gonna ride like a 550 regardless what you do to it. I went through all of this back in my 550 days. Wide tray...

    Reducing Bpipe stinger diameter?

What is your headpipe diameter? Might have to do some tuning with the restrictor to see some positive change in reducing the stinger.

    Wake Jumping Etiquette (Safety)[ORIGINAL THREAD]

How we did it at lundyfest. Main group knows how it goes. Also, to get the most air, hit the wake right off the boat, not the second haha.

Thanks! Hopefully I'll get it together tomorrow/Friday. If that goes well, there's 4-6footers in Wilmington calling my name

Ordered what I hope to be the last parts to complete this ski. More turf for the rails, rrp 4 degree fat bars and micro drains. Got some time to get it all wetsanded and buffed. Now she's ready for assembly. Still gotta turf the front foothold but will do that when the rest of the turf arrives...

BA Freak (155 conversion) & carbon circus

I got to ride a carbon circus for a few minutes a few weeks ago, very similar setup as yours and equally as violent. My glass -4.3 is still light enough I can pick it up fairly easily with the pole, custom pole bracket, hood, and turf on it. Probably weighs somewhere in the mid 80lb range so...

    SN Oem exhaust question

Must be a "southern" thing I did the same thing with my tnt chamber with a smaller stinger than the stock hose, use another hose almost like a bushing and tighten'er down with a hose clamp

@speedysprocket does flywheels still I believe. He lightened mine. 760 flywheel. Very quick turn around and great price. And machining quality was excellent too

    Reducing Bpipe stinger diameter?

It looks like the water injects between the sleeve and stinger I'm sure that would affect how it runs too

    Reducing Bpipe stinger diameter?

Yeah it definitely has a sleeve welded on but also the ID of the stinger definitely looks smaller. Hard to recall as I've only seen one in person
