correct. midshaft feels/sounds tight. it feels like it hooks up at idle and just off idle, but any higher than that and you can feel it let go

I'm working on a 1996 waveraider for a friend. He said ti was running like crap and wouldn't go. I went through the carbs (they were full of water) and cleaned them, etc, and now it runs perfectly. I took it to the lake, it'll move when idling and just off idle, but as soon as you give it gas it...

Ok, after one of my piston ring pins decided to say goodbye on me @ the end of last season, I'm rebuilding the engine. I had to get it bored due to the broken piston ring tearing up my cylinder. I ended up getting the Wiseco true 800cc pistons (82.96mm) with boost hole and reed cutaway...

I did that a few years ago, bent a rod so far it hit the crank webbing when trying to turn over. had my hotrods crank for 2 seasons now with NO issues

thats what happened to mine. damn WSM piston ring pin decided to sink into the piston. then ring met exhaust port, rest is history. going wiseco this time, no more WSM junk

hell my SXR has no issues coming out of the water. I ride the hell out of it everytime I go out. and she never breaks. can't say the same for them yamis though. I'd rather swim than ride a yamaha :poke:

it limits water getting into the stinger part of the wet pipe until higher rpm. it keeps the waterbox dryer at lower rpm, so when you nail the throttle for the huge backflip you dont have a ton of water to push out of the exhaust first
