    i am really having a hard time finding a good all around jetting solution on my 08 SJ. Only mods are a LTD B pipe and tau ceti FAs. I started with the FP suggested change to 135 mains, it ran well but wasnt really that great on WOT. It also had a stutter when punching it after a long wot run...

    OEM intake grate

    If you are taking a pre 08 RN then yes, the worx will be a good addition, also the jet dynamics works wonders for hookup. On the other hand, a worx intake made my 08 (newer hull) handle like crap! I am back to the oem grate and much happier!

    pisser in wrong location?

    It is just fine. If you want extra exhaust drying (less water) you can add a small restritctor at the stinger inlet, or make sure that the straight part of the T goes to the pisser (so taht the straightest water flow is towards the the pisser )

    I also run the OEM impeller and seems to do just fine. I had an intake grate from a RN and it had too much hookup in this hull, I am back also to the oem grate and it feels better, I will try to find a milder top loading grate for the 08....

    You were correct! I tried opening 1 turn the lo speed adjusters and my hesitation is now gone! But, the ski feels a bit rich on plane now, maybe due to the 135 mains (which came with the FPP)....I have ordered the 75 pilots and 95 gram spring and will go back to the 130 mains to see how it goes...

    Pulled the plugs, but they were very black because my dock has an almost half mile of no wake zone so the ski gets a little rich after this low speed. There werent any strange things on the electrodes, though, and the piston heads looked OK only with some carbon.....
