If I am not mistaken, using polyester resin would not be so good considering the hull is SMC, I am correct? I can get polyester resin also.....

Thing is, I am not in the US, so I´d have to find a similar glue. I can source resin and fiberglass, but working with some kind of epoxy glue (such as what you call Jbweld) is much easier. The glue used in the FAQ, is it resin? Or is it some kind of epoxy 2 parts glue?

I am about to receive my straps, and plan on installing them using the nut and washer method. Which is the best glue to stick the washers to the hull? Regular Epoxy Resin? Or some kind of other epoxy glue? Any tips to improve the sticking, other than sanding and cleaning with acetone? Thanks

A friend of mine did that here, the ski was a little heavy on the bottom end, but up top it was like driving a streetbike........it was scary fast! The hull did not help much though, you had to really fight it to make it go straight. Great fun !
