i have wanted a SJ for years, and bought an X2 because it was 10x cheaper. i never expected i would like the X2 this much, but i do. it's bone stock, i plan on doing nothing to the motor/pump/hull (except maybe a couple more hood latches). so far, it has handled landings from 6-7', effortlessly...

that's crazy, i was just wondering about that.....seemed much easier to just to throw a piece of 4x8 plywood on my utility trailer and attach a couple 4x4 bunks instead of trying to reinforce a couple 2x4 bunks. again, why this forum is awesome, hahaha

just a question here......could the "warmed up power loss" be due to a richer ratio (since there is more oil in the fuel end of the air/fuel concept) in combination with expansion from heat??? if so, that 40:1 may help, right?

hey guys, i was able to find out that a 12" bunk width is good for a 650sx, but i'm now wondering if that's the same for the x2? if not, what would work? please be nice, i am a blaster guy that always wanted an x2 (and i am set up to pick it up tomorrow night)!!!!! THANKS!!!

well, i have to admit reading all these replies put a smile on my face! i guess it looks like i'll switch over to searching for a SN.....cheap, and i'm guessing enough power to learn on until i can throw a 701 in -or- swap out the 650 with the 701 in what would become my wife's blaster :dunno:

will it start up once you open the hatch and air it out a bit OR just let it sit for a little while? if so, maybe a slight exhaust leak that slowly fills up the hull so no oxygen can get in to the carb after a while?
