Any mechanical engineers on here? Or engineers in general..

Good to hear it was the right choice. Like everyone else has said take advantage of internship offers early, even if they are unpaid. It will give you far more leverage in the long run! I'm one of the fortunate ones with a 50/50 split of desk vs. hands on working on some pretty awesome...

    Blaster 1100 versus 781 BB

I too was concerned about the weight/center of gravity difference... i run a 63m and never looked back. the triple gives insane power over the entire powerband. It takes a short while to get used to cornering as the ski wants to tip a bit more leaning in, but after 1 ride you wont look back...

    Blaster 1100 Blaster dual exhaust?

From a first hand perspective I wish I did more to quiet mine down. I'm not running a dual but a TJ triple exit off of the right waterbox and it barks, leading to those exact stink eye looks your talking about.

Surfriding trying to decide on a new vest...............

Any chance you are an XL? http://www.bartswatersports.com/catalog/Mens_Life_Jackets/Jet_Pilot_Core_Neo_Vest_JP0V46/index.asp Ive used this vest for 2 seasons and it is by far the thinnest USCG vest I have seen. I came from an A-10 as well and thought I would hate switching to an approved vest...

Super Jet ? stop/start switch issue?

Open everything up, brush off, and use copious amounts of dielectric grease! Also I would do the same to your fuse. Electrical gremlins can be a nightmare, but the most useful tool Ive used on any of my skis is Di Grease.

    Freestyle Help the Newb

Just like everyone else is saying, pick up a nice square/round nose SJ with limited mods and learn from there. A nice RN is hard to come by up here, I would look into that stocker with trailer. If you have any other questions Im a local guy and can always help out. Andy

Custom/Hybrid Superfreak on CL in Cali

I spoke to Tem about it a couple months ago. Although I didn't send him any pictures, he thought this was definitely one of the builds he did with Pat at X-metal. I was interested until I heard the weight. The first time I inquired I was told 75lbs, the second time 115 pounds? Kind of threw...

    Super Jet New rnsj owner.

I wouldn't expect it to be too heavy, just looks like slight wall reinforcement, but like all SJ's, Id bet my first born that it has some drenched foam

Welcome man! Nice hull you've got there, I was bidding against you and bowed out at the end because I couldn't get a reasonable shipping quote! sounds like you've got the basics down, I would seriously consider looking into a mag pump from the start, it will really help in the chop if your a...

honestly been wondering the same thing myself. Curious what the true benefits are in a SJ or a budget AM hull like a BOB
