Hood is almost done. the Handhold domes are in the liner is back in just some more sanding and shaping of the "dash part" and there is no more cock drawings. also notice the flat entry into the handhold, no ridge like the stock hood has

The inside was all sanded with 36 grit and we filled a few low spots and started laying glass i did one/two layers on the sides. there will be neon green carbon fiber going in next. The nose has 3 layers in it.
PS this was my first time laying glass usally travis does it but he had his ski to do and i had watched him enough i figured i would go for it

yeah man I thought the dude was dead! he hit the floor so fast and blood went everywhere! it was bad! A piece of metal fell off of a shelf at work and smashed him in the head. It weighed about 6pounds and fell from about 4feet right into his head. Luckily we get free medical. that pic is of the 6 staples they put in his head!

It's been a bad week for working on ski's I guess. I wear safety glasses when I use sanders, grinders, etc. but last Saturday I was using a razor blade to shave some excess foam that expanded over. The razor blade snapped and hit me in the eye... Luckily it only hit me in the white and there aren't any problems (that I know of) so I'll count my blessings on that one. I learned a new lesson though...

I think yours was worse by far.

well what can you do, sometimes stuff just happens.

So the MSD enhancer instructions say DO NOT use with timing advance. I know Ski4ever took his out and sold it to me so i have two plates now. But the questions is I need to pull mine out right? or can i run it with both?

I called MSD they said the plate advances it 7 degrees and in order to run the plate i need the retard kit which backs it 5 degrees. The retard is $54, so is it worth that to advance the timing two degrees or should i just pull the plate out?

Wait I thought the whole point of having the MSD enchancer was to custom program your ignition... If that's not the case, what makes those things a) so expensive b) something so many people want?

you can just run the flywheel without the keyway and move it counter clockwise 1 tooth or so... i did that all last summer and it didnt retard once, the key way is only there for lining it up.
