here is my sexy new engine. yes i have a few rusty things i need to clean up yet i also need to order a quick disconnect flush kit. I dont want to leave that bulky ulgy hose kit on there(not on in pictures). I dont have my fuel line/wires tied up yet cause i have to run my throttle cable/startstop switch/etc yet. i also ordered Boyseen rad valves (reeds with built in stuffers) not sure if i said that yet but i wont put them on untill after i getting my jetting close for the head change then i will go from there and change it again.

PS engine bay needs hosed out to. its very dusty in there.

Looks good but it could certainly look a lot better without the rusty bits and after you polish that pipe up/paint it. I gotta say though... all that work you put into making the engine and engine compartment beautiful and you ruin it by sticking a dirty gas tank and a nasty @ss pipe in there. :twak:

On a side note... Why is your steering cable sticking straight into the battery?

I bought a 5" one from Lowes because the SJ only had one when I got it. Don't know if it'll last or not but it was less than $2...so probably not. lol

for $2 is it stainless?:Eyecrazy:

I was doubtful at first but after looking at the metal it looked way too much like stainless so I did some research... Murray Gold Seal clamps are all stainless. The screws come in different types from carbon steel to stainless steel and other types as well. Lowes clamps FTW!

LOL nice! It was hiding...even when you told me it took a second to see it. How is the dash too thick? You didn't pad it did you?

Crap speaking of primers, I need to order one soon. Man I hate ordering a $10-$15 part only to pay an additional $10 in shipping.

ya somehow i hooked up my water lines wrong to. I just looked at my Paint shop pro image and seen the cylinder head goes to the head pipe and the stinger goes to the water box. So i fixed that today.

Question... To avoid putting a ulgy flush kit by my head, (Even the quick disconnect would have to tee in) Can i back flush using the blowsion flush kit you stick into the pisser? or has anyone seen a INLINE quick disconnect flush kit?
-Travis has a blowsion back flush hose that he doesnt use in the garage now

The picture should help explain. My statement at the bottom simply means that the feed line of the pump goes into the bottom of exhaust mainfold ofcourse.

Holy crap those water lines look all messed up!

Either one of these should work much better... The first picture is how I have my kawi. The second picture shows what most people run but I've been told there isn't any difference.

i have three fittings on my head pipe.

What's the third one for? One in and one out... Unless you're talking about the stinger, what else could you need? Actually...looking at your pipe, it looks like you have 2 stingers...:261:

Well if you only have one cooling line coming from the pump, just block off one of the fittings on the head. That will alleviate some of the clutter. Unless you're running dual cooling, you don't need dual outlets on the head.

I don't really know about that pipe setup... I started making recommendations but decided against posting them. Your best bet is to find someone who knows that pipe. I don't wanna overheat your motor or pipe based on my guesswork.
