No pete you are the man your X2 rips.

While everyone was reading another thread I decided to get some work done. I cut the nose off and fitted my topdeck. I still have some fitting todo on both by I am real close. If I wasn't getting married this weekend I probably could mount it

ok... I'll settle this...

Pete IS the man, we know this...You build that ski and when you are done we'll decide if you are the man too...

:bigok: he he he.....

looking forward to watching this progress...

Since I was getting married at 2 I managed to pop the mold off before I went. It came out ok, i had to grind down some spots in the front to get the top deck on . I layed some 17oz on the top today to bring it up level with the sides its not pretty but it will hold. After it dries I will grind down the excess and fit the topdeck back on. Once it is fitted I will lay up some glass from underneath to re-enforce it.

You worked on your wedding day, Brent your my hero. That is how you get stuff done!

That garage has the familiar look of a project in progress. I can't stand these guys that have nothing to do but organize and clean their garage.......:Flush:

Slow day today. all I got done was the pump shoe fitted and filled in some more creases in the bottom of the hull. I also prepped the nose to lay some glass on the underside of the lip.

I got the bottom of the hull almost ready for paint but got tiered of sanding today so I laid a layer on carbon down in the tray . It was my first time using carbon and was unaware that loose strands would turn into hair balls when epoxy was brushed on them. I tried to get most of them up but the epoxy started to flash so I stopped.

Got allot done this last week. Sealed the pump bolt holes, installed my trim tube and put some reenforcement on the top deck in couple of places that were a little thin. I also got it mounted :beerchug: with some 404.
