This thread just made my snowing cold Monday soooooooo much better. So realistically will these be available by the time the ice melts here? Looks and better yet sounds sweet. So my B pipe and yam intake and carbs all bolt right up?

This is the most exciting thing I have seen in quite a while.

Is it true that cast cylinders make more power then billet? Something about heat transfer? (I could be making this up, but I thought I read that somewhere.)

Erik is behind these motors, truly an amazing guy, very knowledgeable hard working person. Best thing with these motors is they have legit tuned motors from other manufactures to compare against and these puppies work,I have 2 in the making be sure to keep you guys updated glad to see this thread is 4 pages long already and still on track,do yourself a favor and call this guy

Erik Brigham = True Performance Engineering and the 2 new cylinder setups about to hit the market at a great price.

Erik has been porting motors for myself, the Rad Dudes and the racing community for years, trust me when I say he is OLD AS THE HILLS... JK, he has been in the industry for many years, you can tell by his constant references to the "550 and Scott Watson"

This setup will drop right onto any 701/760 based bottom end with some clearancing of cases needed for the 95mm pistons to drop in. Everything will be a straight bolt in from a current Yami setup.

Basically you can trash your stock top end, get Erik to port your cases and drop this bad boy on top to run 940cc (I think exact numbers are 946cc, Erik can chime in)... with stock stroke reliability...

Im excited to try out the stock stroke motor... erics gona be trying the stock stroke motor in a fs2 and will have simple bolt ons ie bpipe 46mm carbs and nynja chamber all fully affordable stuff for people. With access to other motors same mods in the area will be a great comparison.. so it will be apples to apples.

Winning right there.

TRUE PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING. After being involved in the sport since the late eighties I decided the time was right to put myself out there and just do it. This has been a two and a half year journey and not as much fun as I thought it would be, until this weekend. I love to talk theory about engines and so fourth, but after awhile it becomes white noise to most. So now the baseline is set and over a short time I will be showing more specs about the design and its attributes. But most of all it works awsome and is repeatable. Now more guys like me can afford the sport at a very high level. 1105cc 10mm and 964cc stock stroke.

DAG, good question, you would not believe the amount of carnage you can fix in an all aluminum cylinder, check out MILLINIUM TECHNOLOGIES. 95mm piston only, thats all you need. You will wear out several sets of pistons before the bore.

....when can we put our deposits down? Ill take a top end to run with a stock stroke and pump gas please

With the cost of a rebuilt stock stroke crank, compared to a stroker crank, that really isnt that critical. But very sim setups in the atv world being already tested are running much longer between rebuilds than strokers. Its going to be really nice to have a stock stroke motor out that makes REALLY good power with very basic inexpensive bolt ons..On lighter hulls this is very much a dual purpose surf/flat setup...There are a ton of people that want just that with out breaking the bank on billet...enter....true performance. Its been a 2 yr learning experience of what works and what REALLY works and its awesome to see it coming together and still for the guy on a budget that wants to rip with the best of em.

Good to know, thanks for the info! Looking forward to hopefully getting a ride on a boat with one of the SS motors here in the next few months.

Yamaha 62t based. No sleeves, nikasil plated. The motor in the vid was straight out if the mold with no additional work other than machining the bore for nikasil. But, Erik can set you up however you want.

Scottie

i've got a couple 8mm cranks and cases just begging for top ends. does the" however you want" include setup for 8mm? whats the difference between the stock and 10mm setup? spacer plate or ?? thanks
