Aircraftsalz Carbon Rickter FS1, XS1000, MIGHT BE 4 SALE!

that sucks to hear the rad didnt work,I figured it wouldnt since they dont with the anolog to digital advent, thats most sim to the epic Wonder how far off the timing is,would it be possible to move the stator enough to compensate for it,if it was a stable amount off and stayed the same through the rpm range. Could you put a timing light on it and leave the plugs out of the motor and have enough adjustment on the stator to correct it

also I think the lighter the FW the better for any kind of riding, the tl im running has the lightest FW avail and it is super SMOOTH in surf and idles like butter, but it revs quicker and tighter than any other system ive ever used

Just got my ATP Flame system..... It looks great, the FW is super light, the directions are spot on, Can't wait to try it out.

I've been very happy with mine. Been running it since November and have about 150 gallons through the motor since then.

I've been slacking, just a little burned out on ski's right now. I worked on the nose last weekend adding some carbon. I did the sides & bottom when I built it, but it needed some in the nose. Also had to change the coupler rubber, that XS1000 is killing that small DB rubber dampner. I found chunks of red rubber in the hull.

I got my old ebox out, FW & stator off. Started installing the Flame tonight. I think Lucas/Chris might have a plan for this weekend. I should be ready by Friday.

The five finger oem yamaha runabout couplers are pretty light and real durable. You can get the good ones off the gp800 and gp1200r''s .

The GP dampners are really beefy, I just sold my last one to a guy running a Coffman piped 951 in his Superjet. He says the OEM GP is the only way to fly on those.

I like the danger boy light couplers, I just think the xs1000 is very hard on the drive train. Will see how this new one works. I'm working on wiring the new ATP stator plate now. Should have it going by tomorrow.

Not sure whats going on for this weekend. No surf, maybe a lake ride.

I'll put a replacement dampener in the mail today
Did you by any chance hit bottom ?
if not would be great to have you send the dampener back for inspection to see if it was flawed
we have these on other Team Scream 1000cc motors without issues but you probably have the most hours on that setup

We have found that on Rickter hulls ( and some other hulls that do not have a recess in the firewall), if you do not put a spacer behind the midshaft housing (or run one of our housings) the inner bearing carrier is restricted in its movement because it is pressed up against the firewall ( it will actually cut a groove in your firewall) which could possibly cause this issues as well

we also make 3mm spacers for those who want to use OEM midshaft housings

I'm not worried about the dampner, I play hard with my ski so I expected to have to change stuff. I wasn't bitchen about the coupler, just a normal wear item. But Carl is a great guy & hes taking care of it.

Got the Flame all installed. I'm really impressed with it, the snap is even better than with the EPIC. I already needed a bigger prop & with the flame it really shows now. Very happy with the Flame!!! Its going to be a lot of fun playing with curves!!!!

Where is the "stash" of props my motor can't handle?

I know, you savvy basta&d, you're putting them on airplanes! And charging twice the price! Used!

Just checked out ATP's site & the EPIC. Surprisingly affordable!

Yeah, Sell the MSD or put it in Lisa's ski. I got the cable & the timing curve that everyone around here is running. It's really the best bang for the buck..... I also got a #.O 62T light FW you can install, I'm runing TL now so I don't need it.
