Well since the shed is Waaaay to dusty from all this sandblasting and powdercoating I've been doing lately, I went ahead and assembled the motor with a new piston in my room. Shes cute.

Now I just gotta put the electronics on it, bore out the FPP manifold a bit more, and put it back in the boat. 2 weeks from now is the carbon fiber project.

Almost finished! Powdercoated the headpipe today, did a neat blend. Unfortunately I forgot I did the manifold in Satin black and I did the headpipe in texture black... so they dont quite match.

Got the motor back in the hull, 1 motor mount ate the dust in the process.

Right now the only thing holding me back is I was unable to find any jets, needles and seats locally today. So I guess tomorrow I will have to order them from Riva. I was suggested by tim judge to use a 2.3 n/s, 20-25 psi popoff, 120 low, and 120 highs

Another problem I realized, which is 2 problems in one shot. The dual 44s are setup with the throttle wheel on the back, instead of the front like 38s. My throttle cable is to short. So I either have to flip the carbs and redrill for the cable mount, or buy a 750sxi throttle cable which I believe is very long.

Also if you look closely, the fuel pickups ont he carbs are pointed 90* right into the hull. I'm not sure a fuel line will bend that sharp.

Tips?

Seeing that huge chamber belly when I open the hood is nice.

Sweet! I'm envious!

I have half a jetski arriving in the mail between tomorrow and Friday. Lol!

It'll be fun to ride with you and I want to see just how squirrly that ski of yours is.

We'll have to race. ;)

No jets today. Riva didnt ship the parts out yesterday even though I ordered them at 11am. Oh well. Goin to spend the rest of the week in north tampa. Perhaps sunday I'll get it goin.

Now to figure out what spring I should use to achieve 20-25 pop off.

As for a race. LoL. I'll give you half a lake head start.

Back on the water today. Put 2.3n/s, 120 hi, 120 low, gold 115 springs.

The thing rips. Definitely capable of backflips.

I'm set at 1 turn out all the way around and its running rich, it started to show signs of fouled plugs after 1/2 gallon run through.

Then I let buddy ride it and the starter switched died.... or something along those lines. No click from solinoid... no noise no effort. So I have to trace down an electical problem tomorrow.

im sure theres no real difference that you could ever feel. But theoretically it lets the diaphragm fluctuate with less resistance.

One more update.... NEW TOY! Thanks to ShoNuff, this should match nicely with my c75 hub 9/17 hooker impeller.
