Mark, I'd love a pole by daytona! Dont worry I'm already in the works of starting another build. I need to compression test the motor, I'm hoping it ran out of gas before it burnt up.


Flatt Brapp... I'll be visiting you in a day or two if thats cool...? And yea... the boat took a beating. Through the under runners of a dock, through a cypress knee field, up the bank and into a tree.


Suzy didnt believe me when I said it... but the ski really did... and i mean LITERALLY did a backflip in the air and landed in a 15 foot branch. We pulled the ski out of the tree upside down facing the opposite direction. I'm going to try and get those pictures from my neighbor.

Thanks for all the support guys. Its nice to know people followed the build.


(if I bring the remains to daytona think I could get both the Build and Carnage of the year award?)

Yeau? Big ol` thick ones with deep chines? Thats how louies were and I love them. Not a fan of the thin little blowsion ones.

What if you had a nice place to stay for free, and someone gifted you a late Christmas present of an airplane ticket? Hmmmm? (I'll christen your ski...are you getting a new ski or just messin with me as usual?)

So is my brother being a slacker Fox? I’ll totally disown him! Never made it to the surf (we shall all try again), and the story is almost as good as your supposed ski in a tree story (lol, not quite, ha ha)! So, I purchased six new rail boards, more carpet, and 16 stainless steel lag bolts…wanna come over and tinker, since you have nothing to tinker on now!

I am getting a new hull for my ski...which is basically a new ski! Thanks for the offer, Suzi. I would do it in a second....but I think I need to stay home and be dad this year. :Banane19:Have fun! I'll be back in the freeride scene this spring!

Finished fixing the neighbors dock and light post just now. I measured the point of impact on the light post. 9 feet 8 inches from the ground. The tree was just behind it. I'll rehang the tree swing later.

Goin to get the new hulls now. Woo wooo....

I think i go through to many hulls.... just thinking that every 1 ski I make I trash 2 more in the process... lol. Perhaps this time I'll spend some money and cover the entire bottom in a single sheet of carbon.


Anyone have a GOOD 750sx throttle cable to donate?

nah wasnt me... i havent been to any freerides yet... there is someone on pwctoday with the name motoman96.... might have been him.

im hoping to make it to daytona but i dont think its going to happen. if i do it will be very last minute

Got the second pump cavity glassed in. Tonight/tomorrow I will flip it and glass the outside.... Ive run out of most of my glass. On the inside I did 1 layer 17oz biax and 4 layers of 6oz cloth. I may do the same on the outside. I have an extremely thick sheet of carbon... never seen anything like it before.... I may try and use it. It is incredibly dense and I will probably have to do vacuum bag to get it to have good penetration.

yea kev... I know... I'm rediculous.
