O darn, that is so horrible. How will she be able to ride that superjet. lol I think your superjet is enough boat for most people! I would ride it!

Pump looks real nice boyer, but what's going on with the long pump bolts?

Are those from a couch? They are too long and have nuts on them?

By the way, my ski had fouled plugs when you rode it, got back that night and it was really off until new plugs and BRAAP!

I used a coucher wear ring with the long bolts just cause I had a couple laying around. I trimmed off the extra length last weekend and is all good now.

I'm betting your plugs were foulded because i wasn't riding it hard enough, LOL. That idle zone sucks!!

Bobby posted up some more pics of the progress on my lower hull. All the plumbing is now complete and he's started on the upper deck and hood.

Before you ask, there are 2-1/2" cooling tubes, 1 steering tube, 1 trim tube and 3/8" 1 siphon bilge tube.

I opted out of the 2" scupper and went with a 1" drain tube with a Versiplug-R instead which I can replace with either a stock Kawi drain plug or Billet Duckbill.

Someone had asked how much throw my SE trim had but I never really measured it before this weekend. I figured it out to be around 25° after a couple mods already but I got to work with a file and sanding wheel and got it to go up to 31° now. It doesn't seem like that much more but I'm sure every little bit helps.
It was originally advertised as 20° I guess. http://optimaracing.com/product_info.php?cPath=24_29_75&products_id=259

I started the rewire of my bilge pumps too...doing both skis at once plus a couple spares while I'm at it.
There's going to be a couple nice tricks done to these as well that will be revealed real soon. Just waiting on material...

to be honest i always though it would be smarter to add more pumps to flow the water than a big pipe that only works when your moving.

Assuming your doing a 2/2 split front/rear since you have two toggles.

I'm only doing 2 pumps with one switch per ski but I'm doing both my ski and my wife's skis at once plus rigging up one spare switch and 2 pumps.

The top deck is out of the mold and looks SICK!!!!!! Like Darth Vaders Helmet according to Bobby, LOL

:hail::hail::hail::hail::hail: All Hail Bobby!!! :hail::hail::hail::hail::hail:

The black shows off the lines of the hull even better than anticipated but you guys will all have to wait to see. We're going stealth from this point on until the hull is completely assembled.

Now that Gil and Crammit have a dog in this race we have to keep things under tighter wraps. LOL

It's woven wire loom oil, heat and abrasion resistant, I got the stuff pictured from Jetskisolutions but just ordered up some different stuff from Mcmaster-Carr. John's stuff is a better quality.

Nice Project! I like the anodized black look. I painted one of my SXRs flat black and was really happy with it. Keep the pics coming.
