If that pipe is tuned to sizzles (recommended) I have strong doubts that hose is going to hold up. I guess time will tell. The pissers look 100000 times better BTW. Don't forget to same some of the budget for gas and oil :)

hm... Well I really dont have any other choice for hose. I cannot find anything locally thats 2". Ive tried all the race shops, and every specialty store. I think after the waterbox the hose wil be fine, but not too sure now about from the pipe to the waterbox. Personally I dont think the actual exhaust fumes will be that hot and melt the hose, I just think the actual touching of the bpipe stinger will cause the melting if it melts. Ill try some header wrap or something on the stinger

EDIT: got the whole pump assembly in but the intake grate has a little problem. When the front or the back is flush down on the ski the opposite side sticks up about 3 inches. Im sure I could heat and bend the intake grate but Im not sure if that will effect its purpose.

Is the scoop hitting the driveshaft by chance? I had problems with mine fittings but it was a length problem and not an actual warping issue.

I don't know if I'd run the hose between the waterbox and pipe chamber. The only thing with trying the current hose first and determining if it'll hold up is the fact that replacing the hose will likely require you to pull the engine later. Ask to go in the back of your auto parts store and look at radiator hoses. You could also go to a local auto scrap yard and scavenge around in the old cars until you find a radiator hose your size with a bend in it. Then just pay the guy at the counter $5 and be done.

I have the stock exhaust hose with that 90* bend in it. I can cut that and try and make that work, but Im going to have to try and do it with the tank in, the tank was the hardest thing to get in and get alligned with the filler. Idk im not really worried about the tube, If it lasts for 10 days, great. Im moving very soon and the lake will be a 45 minute drive so Ill only be able to ride on the weekends so Ill have all the time in the world to fix it.

...making the ride that got cut short on Saturday 10 times worse. It truly sucks driving long distances to go ride only to come back home after 20-30 minutes of riding. If the stock one will fit, I highly recommend it.

sorry to scare you Shane, it was the most obvious reason that I didnt see when I put it on. The wings of the scoop were rubbing, grinded those down and she fits like a charm

You may want to look into a stock scoop grate.Chad, waternut, and l have all went to a basically a stock grate.Or cut the middle out of it like l did mine.

Well I ripped the tubing out. Decided to do some testing on it. I heated it with a heat gun for 5 minutes enough to where it burned my hand, I then put on some leather gloves and stretched it pulled it twisted it did whatever to try and break it (because it was so hot) and nothing happened. It barely became soft too. Its some pretty tough stuff, but Ill just put the stock stuff in while its out.
this is what I ordered. T-7

Ill try and get the engine in tonight, my battery stuff comes from mcmaster carr tomorrow so I will have everything to be done.

Also I have another delima, my AC pole only has one hole for a one breather tube, my thoughts were to cut it out, but I cant get my grinder in there. I COULD get it plasma cut, but that will set me back another day or two. I dont really know what to do.

I would just run one tube and block the other off personally. At least for now. I know you were hoping to have pole breathers though but seriously... at this point, I think getting on the water and enjoying the ski before it gets cold again should be priority number 1. Three months from now, you can change all the stuff that you wanted to do and either didn't have time, money, or motivation to finish. After a few rides, your priorities and things you want will change anyway.

Just make it work so it won't break down on you every ride and go have some fun... If you're frustrated and broke by the time you finish the build, you won't want to ride it because you don't have the motivation to tweak it.

How do you think I should block it off? Like a freezer plug or something? I dont have any hood breathers Im wondering if I would be starving for air?

Hmmm... I forgot that you didn't have hood breathers at all. I think you would be starving for fuel if you ran a single tube and jammed it full of cables and wires.

Ok,Frogzkins can be bought at sled-parts.com a lot cheaper than $92.Brock does not have a big pocket! l bought 2 from these guys for $9.95 a piece plus ship.

The other thing l found after getting my "Hole" in the water was l did not need extra holes in the hood. And l'm running duel 46's.So wait before you cut.Unless you run it WFO all the time! Good luck on that deal.Try and hold the stunt wide open! Be sure to take some video.

Brock,so far as having the one hole.Take it to a local welding shop that welds aluminum.Close the hole and then take it home and drill it.Should not cost over $20.

yea thats better we must have been spelling it wrong when searching cause neither of us could find anything on it.

Well I dont think im going to get it welded or cut. Im just going to run one tube up in there cut the other tube order some of those frogzskin and hope they work for my cut breather. Also my trim is a joke, it gets like 10 degrees. so Im just going take the cable out. Im with waternut, Im just ready to ride screw things that are going to set me back another day.

The issue I thought of with the exhaust hose is that it will be tough to get it to seal to the waterbox and pipe stinger. Since it is coiled it will be hard to get get a hose clamp to seal it off and exhaust may seep out around the hose coil.

Stock 62t trim is pretty weak without a doubt. I spent a long time grinding on mine and still didn't get a lot of throw. Then last weekend my brand new Pro-tec trim cable broke which kinda pissed me off so I'm back to my normal reduction and steering nozzle. I did finish out the ride on Saturday with a floppy nozzle though and didn't really notice a bit of difference.
