About to drop the engine back into my BOB and looking for suggestions, 64x blowsion head 170psi, oem 44's, b-pipe.
Right now the carbs are at 140 main, 120 pilot, 2.5 N/S with gold 115g spring. 1.75 turns out high and 1.5 out low.
haven't ran this setup yet i got the ski and completely rebuild it, the carb specs seem a bit off from everyone else running a 760 on here
I tired the 120L 115H 2.0 95G-25# on my eBay 760 OEM 44’s and it was rich through the midrange, bottom was meh and top wasn’t that good .
I’m thinking that tune is for Mikuni’s aftermarket SBN 44’s and not OEM 44’s they vary quit a bit from model to model.
Any ways I just got back from the river tuning and it’s running like a raped ape... Crisp snappy throttle response right off idle and everywhere with hard pulling acceleration throughout the entire mid that never lets up. I’ll up the pilot too P117.5 and 120 next time session and see what the motor likes or doesn’t and get that LS closed a bit.
I ended up with this..
115P
132.5M
1.5n/s 80g-38#
LS-2.5
HS-1/2.
