Yeah that's the one thing that sucks about small batteries like an etx 9..if you sink your ski and have to get it running again an etx 9 probably won't cut it. A month ago I had a loose fitting on my tank so I had no tank pressure, and my battery just about died trying to get it going again..
It's one thing if you have easy access to your battery though. But on a surf hull I'd sacrifice some weight for a bigger battery..

I took off the pole, tank, water box, and chamber. My buddy has made it his mission to have me hit some surf in the morning so he's coming to my place at 7am to help with the breather tubes hahaha. Great people in this sport I tell ya!

I took off the pole, tank, water box, and chamber. My buddy has made it his mission to have me hit some surf in the morning so he's coming to my place at 7am to help with the breather tubes hahaha. Great people in this sport I tell ya!

yeah, I wish I had some "friends" coming over my shop to help me build my ski . Anyone that's willing to volunteer can just come over! :)
DMPUS is a great guy...I hope I'll be riding surf with you guys soon!
