U were riding a bit too close to the boat. The couch was following the boat from the start of the clip. It didn't appear to be jumping the boat's wake, but you were. It appeared to be following the boat.

I watched the video a couple of times and I also believe your at fault. I saw the couch coming as you hit the boat wake and you landed nearly in front of it. Less than a second later you can hear the collision. I think you didn't see the couch coming, jumped in front of it, got hit, knew it was your fault but was too pissed to blame yourself. You were jumping that boat's wake erratically and far too close to be legal or even comfortable. If I were the driver of the boat, I'd be pissed at you and shut the motor down just so you run into me.

Why did you jump in the first place if you saw him coming?

If you see a car coming to your right at an intersection, do you pull out in front of them thinking " If they hit me it's their fault, they had enough time"

wow stealth... no one here said the didn't like you (I am not sure if anyone here KNOWS you). Most of us just thought you were on the wrong side of this crash.

By your reasoning I could go ride my bike/skateboard/pogo-stick into the middle of heavy traffic and it would be someone else's fault if I got hit?

FWIW I jump a lot closer to the backs of the boats, but I don't expect someone else to alter their course to avoid hitting me.. that is just plain stupid.

So, you were knowingly riding around someone who is reckless and had already ran over your buddy and then ran up under while he was doing a barrell roll.


That in itself tells me alot.

That clears up a whole lot.

I am impressed as hell at the couch driver had enough reflexes and timing to judge when to shoot up under your buddy while he was barrell rolling, or did your buddy pull barrell roll over the couch to avoid getting run over like the other guy?
