DIY Total loss or MSD TL upgrade box 270USD?

it is, you plug it in and put a power wire to it, what's hard about that. Its because it was being fitted to a 62t based system that it was causing him some confusion. But even it wasn't can you think of a better kit for the price ?

It’s not a kit, it’s a brain from what I understand. And I haven’t been in the market for a brain, couldn’t be happier with what I have currently. But looks like it is working for everyone and soaking up all the 760 stuff on eBay. Good read also

That's awesome your happy with what you have, Your right its not a kit its just a pre programed system that plugs in. If I was selling them I would offer a Y shaped wire with a plug on each end and then I could say its a kit. I my let borut know about it. It will push the price up about a $1.20

Good to see you looked over our diagram of our “kit”

Took her out for a rip this evening. Very happy with results. Much nicer power curve with a very hard hit. Flips got much bigger, and consistent. Thanks for all your help guys super happy with how it turned out.
Thats awesome. are you running the curve it came with ?

Anthony programmed one of his curves into it. 15 to 1500, 28 to 2000, 32 to 4500 and 25 at 5000 scales back to slowly to a rev limit at 8000k. Little more aggressive than yours I believe?

Sounds a little more aggressive. I didn’t want to go to crazy as I knew this was going to everyone and I don’t want people blowing up skis every where

Totally understand haha. I need to get a programmer so i can tweak it a bit myself, really don't know enough about it all to do it safely tho, will just be happy with where its at for now!

So having some issues. Rode great till last 10mins last night and then motor sounded like it dropped a octive. Much lower sound. Figured I just had water in my ear or something cause it still ran fine. Today took it out and it ran like poop. Felt like motor was about to die on anything less than 1/2 throttle. I usually cruse around at 1/8. Thought maybe plugs were fouled so swapped in new plugs. Same issue. Pulled plug and front cyl was soaked and plug still looked new pretty apparent it wasn’t firing. Got it home and tested spark and it’s firing just fine off water. Checked flywheel and stator and they still tight and dry. Checked ebox and it’s dry as can be and no pinched wires. Checked compression and it’s 175 a hole. No idea where to go from here. It runs good last 1/5 of my power band. Threw a backflip without issue which I don’t think I coulda done on one Cylinder. Feels like it running on one cyl (extra motor vibration) until that last bit of the power band and then it hits hard. But that front cyl spark plug looks brand new. What did you find out? I’ve still got to find the time to pull this flywheel off and put the new on. Inquiring minds need to know!

Carb linkage adapter setscrew came loose and second carb butterfly was not opening properly. Was barely catching at about half throttle. Hence why it felt ok on the top end. Simple stupid fix.
Don't know what kind of "carb linkage adapter" you're using- but expensive carbs deserve a decent clamping coupler.
