DIY Total loss or MSD TL upgrade box 270USD?

Sorry I don't have dimensions handy.

I have the bottom half of the PJS X2 ignition box and a whole type 2
ignition box, but they are too small, and the X2 box will not fit with the
surf brace.

The flywheel was a prototype or production (I am not sure). There was
problems with the 750 pick up sensors getting trashed during the 93'
world tour. It was caused by the small pin crank flexing.

But the flywheel is flat as a pancake, just a ring gear and the traditional
pjs vane style reluctor. The Hall effect sensor was mounted on the flywheel
cover, facing the flywheel.

Freaking sweet @waxhead !! Is that cover o-ringed? I’ve had my cover off a ton swapping flywheels and such and hate blowing through gaskets.
No its not an o-ring. I thought about it but people were having so many issues with the orings and leaking that I decided against it. But I have a trick for you on the front cover if you want to never have an issue with the gasket. Stick one side and put grease on the other side of the gasket. It always comes off then and grease will still seal it. Happy days

Haha that’s actually what I started doing after going through a few gaskets. I actually have just been greasing both sides o_O

What plugs should I run? I want to find a match that is readily available at Autozone or wherever. I understand they need to be resistor plugs

I got my system all set up and installed. I must have done something wrong. Everything is installed except my positive battery cable going to the box. When I touch it to the battery it kicks on my starter. Any idea what I did wrong before I take it apart?

EDIT: Never mind, my switch relay inside of the box was bad. Crummy old 760 electronics I guess. I switched mine over from my SJ motor and it works good now. Spark plugs have a nice bright blue spark also.

I made it out to the lake. The ski really flies! It feels like I'm hitting about 60 mph. I was doing high speed runs by the docks and everyone was staring. My fuel mixture is too rich so my hit isn't that great and it loads up before it goes warp speed. Very pleased with the Zeel setup!
