You should see between 13-14 volts depending on rpms. But yes it certainly sounds like there is an issue.
Cause I'm running this ignition, and I grinded off the lob on the fly wheel like everyone said. But I still run magnets, so Idk If I did the no charging step or what.

The charging is done by the magnets inside the flywheel and one of the oem coils inside the flywheel on the mag cover. The ignition is completely independent of the charging, and the lump on the outside of the flywheel has nothing to do with the charging.

Do you still have the magnets in your flywheel, and do you still have both coils attached to your mag cover? Basically if you're not sure post a picture of your flywheel and the inside of your mag cover.

I have the Zeeltronic PDCIS-02T. I want to knock out my magnets and run as a loss ignition with my 64x flywheel. Do I still need to grind off the extra pickup bump? I have most of the wiring figured out but I might need a little help once I wire my box as well.

Yes, you still need to grind it off. Magnets are not related to the trigger.

Read the entire thread, good info everyone. Here is a question: Why can't I power the Zeel from behind the fuse on the normal power supply? Is it not enough juice? Thanks.

If you want the most from your TL setup, you can send it to me to lighten in addition to removing magnets. There’s another 11 or so ounces I can take off, and remove the third lump.

Got it all wired up. Thanks to onfireforjesus, his pic of the wiring really helped. I cut the wires to the on/off and starter switches shorter and soldered them back together along with heat shrink wrap, removed the lighting and other extra wires. I added a fuse to the Zeel as well. I didn't have a grommet for the empty hole so I put tape behind it and filled it with gasket maker. I am going to add a switch to the pink and ground wires to switch the tunes. I want to write a really soft tune because a lot of noobs ride my ski. The tuning cable lead routes through the fuse hole. My fly is off to speedysprocket for the total loss lightening treatment. Hopefully everything is correct and it fires right up! Thanks for the help all.

You could but the zeel is supposed to be protected with a 3A fuse and I believe the standard fuse is 10A (might be wrong)... Either way, instructions clearly state to install a new dedicated (fused) power wire...

Got it. I did install a 5 amp fuse just like yours so I should be fine.

I figure it will take about a month or so to finish. I am planning
on making it look like a PJS ignition box, but larger (twin coils +
accessories) We need it finished before the 2019 WF's.

But before I get the box started, I need to fabricate a reluctor to fit
my PJS 750 flywheel and a stator plate (pick-up coils) for the front
cover.

Thats pretty cool. I would be tempted to just use a 750 flywheel with the magnets out, It would be awesome to see it on the pjs box.
Do you have the dimensions on the pjs box handy ??
