DIY Total loss or MSD TL upgrade box 270USD?

So I’ve noticed people complaining about a draw and their charging systems not wanting to keep up. Every person that has mentioned this is using an antigravity battery. I run a deka 9 and have had no noticeable draw and the battery stays good and charged. The antigravity battery’s are lithium ion batteries and the deka’s are agm battery’s. Any thoughts on this?

On to my next question. I’m going to put the TL flywheel on and give it a try but from what everyone is saying, i’ll be lucky to be able to run 5 gallons with the deka 9 on TL before draining the battery dead. What kind of battery’s are you guys running on TL? What kind of run times are you getting between charges?

I am very pleased with this system for so many different reasons.

I'm running it on a Kawi 750 with an ETX16L. I clocked about two hours with a number of starts and still had 12.4v on the battery. Super impressed.

I swapped my 701 to 760 ignition getting prepped for a zeel. I want to keep it a charging setup. What do I keep and remove for this?
Also can I get power for fuel Guage and a Tach signal.

I am getting 4 to 5 hours out of my Deka 9 running total loss on my et 967.

Also, the zeel in my SJ drained a Deka 9 down to 5v by sitting for 3 weeks. The battery drain issues are not limited to lithium.

Perfect! This is what I was looking for. I meant after a week of sitting my deka has no noticable drain but an antigravity does.

I've had no discharge issues, but I am curious with "4 to 5" hours what state of charge is the battery in at that time?

So I just switched skis and am now on a DVX with an XS1200. It’s a 66E based motor. In theory, could I pop a GP800 front cover and flywheel on this thing and run my zeel setup? I assume it would work, right? Idk if I’ve ever heard of someone running zeel on an XS1200 but maybe I could be the first

Anyone know if the static angle is the same on the 800?
I was wondering this also and considering a pump gas charging xs1200/1400.

Ok, so I've been getting all the parts to convert my ski from 61x electronics to 64x for the zeel and realized the case needs a rubber plug for where the 61x wires normally run out of for the stator. I've been looking in every parts diagram and can't find it anywhere. I'm thinking for a temp solution I can just plug it with JB weld but does anyone know where to get this plug or what the yamaha part number is for it?
