Who knows, maybe the demand is so high that some quality controls have been lacking?

You also sure it’s not an intermittent start stop switch going out?

Yes, I’m positive. Disconnected start stop and still no spark. I’ll hook it up to the programmer later and see if it reads. Will report my findings

That's weird I haven't been hearing about issues with the zeel. not saying its not happening but I haven't heard any. I have helped a few people with issues they thought were the zeel but turned out not to be. I'm interested to see what you find Jcary.

Mine seems good but for some reason the hot curve causes a hesitation, the freeride curve seems great...

I am almost beginning to think it is something to do with the way my bilge is wired in? The person who built this ski used the red hot wire coming off the stock cdi to power the rotary bilge switch & bilge pump. Even with the ski off I could still use the bilge pump. They blocked & capped off the rest of wires (green, pink) and just left the red hot and ground to run bilge- that being said can the zeel run the same way? Or am I drawing too much power from the cdi and causing it not to function proper??? I am scratching my head hard at this one. I plan on wiring bilge right to battery with switch and not running it off the cdi harness. I wish I could post up a video- by the time I was done running it today I finished with settings low speed 1 high speed 1. Was super rich.
I am mind boggled at what caused / causes this ski to run the way it did last week & why it was so lean in front cylinder when it did this issue. I plan on taking it to water one day this week.
You should be pulling power for both your bilge and your zeel from the battery hot post of the solenoid. Both connections should have their own dedicated fuse. You can use the pink and black wires from the head temp wiring to power the bilge if you want since it is already there. Just leave the black grounded and connect the pink wire to hot on the solenoid with a fuse in-line. If you use these two wires, there should not be any others that are unplugged in your ebox unless you have a couch harness. Every plug will have a mate.

Yea it's not a lean bog, if anything it's blubbery it was 80 degrees out and warm water, probably try it early morning next time to see how it acts in cooler moist air.

wax racing curve (2).jpg

WAXHEAD, i would like to know, what set-up are you using with this curve n°1.....? ( compression ratio, fuel, crancking compression,........) On my sx-r stock bore and stroke, oem carbs, factory wet pipe, 12.6 compression ratio ( 185 psi ), 1.00 mm squish, unleaded fuel pump 98 ron / 87 mon so 92.5 AKI ( i think it"s " premium in the us ) , i use a curve like your curve n°2 , 25° max at 4500rpm, 15° at 7350 rpm, rev limiter 8000rpm ( curve KOMMANDER sx-r1) on my zeeltronic PCDIS-02T ( no race , but i pratice at sea with long run at wot....).
Can you make long run at wot with this curve n°1.........? 18° at 7000rpm seems to me too much ( it depends fuel off course ).......and last question (!!!), why do you have point at 9000, 10000, 11000,.....,.....,14000 rpm ? i hope my english is understandable !!!!!!!!

The number two curve is one that zeeltronic just put on there as a b-curve
the other curve I just use as my generic normal curve and it will run on anything, Yes I would run on premium.
If you use the number 2 curve you are leaving a lot on the table in the low speed. The number one curve is a better wot curve
The reason I have a 900 rpm point in there is as I wanted it to have a flat from 6000 rpm onwards.

thank you waxhead, for consultation, can you put the curves that are on your website ? because I can't open them ...( i don't know why ).

Can you run the msd independent coils with the zeeltronics , also would you gain anything by doing so? Thanks
I've been thinking about this question too. Would be awesome to build a MSD style ignition (separate coils and wiring to starter and battery) on a piece of carbon fiber with a zeel brain. Mount it above your motor like some MSD style setups do. Would look Bitchin'

I think somebody is already doing almost exactly that. You need a different zeeltronic and a different trigger though. To fire the coils independantly would require two triggers, and two ignition outputs. There are Zeeltronic models that can do that but the plain vanilla PDCIS-02T (or AO2T) only has one input and one output to batch fire.
