DIY Total loss or MSD TL upgrade box 270USD?

Attacking a slightly different animal with a zeal this summer. I am running a Zealtronic on a KV997. The KV flywheels and pickups are compatible. Havent had it in the water yet but she is running really nice on the stand.

There are some changes from the commonly used 760 set up.

The Static Angle of the KV997 is 40*

The wiring is as follows.
Zeal Wire=Krash Wire
Red=Red
Orange=Orange
Blue=Blue
Black/White=White
Green/White=Green/Yellow
Black=Common Ground in ebox
Brown/Green=Ignition Map Switch (optional)

Also the peak advance of the KV997 stock CDI is 28*. I am starting out using the wax curve. With its peak of 32* I will be starting with a 135p 125m fattened up from the 125p 135m found standard on these.

The system i am running now you can remove the 760 cdi from the ebox and trim the mount so the zeltronics will fit in the 760 stock rubber mount. Ask for an extension wire for the programmer and feed it out through the fuse hole to be able to program without opening your ebox. I'd have o look and see what model im running again. It is a stock PLUG and PLAY system and will plug directly into the 760 harness. You just have to specify the correct connector and it will come assembled. I took the magnets out of the flywheel and lightened to run it as a tl setup and its been going strong for 2 years.
So if i'll buy this unit PDCIS-01T - and connect it to 760 wires will run - or should i program it? thks

I have been speaking with Borut and he is working on the kawasaki 1100 system now. So when its finished its going to be a plug and play 1100 ignition for your triple. I understand that no ones a triple in a free ride boat but a lot of people in here have flat water sports skis as well.
we here in Romania will make b1 with kaw1100 and Carter B nose and rear - so i need the cdi for that. Also a B2 with kaw1100 for racing - just need one of those too

Using a zeeltronic with the 760 (64x) yamaha electronics, you only need the sensor, you don't need the coils inside the flywheel if you are not charging.

Also, To be clear, the PDCIS-02T is the unit that is designed to work with the yamaha 760 (64x) electronics, for the 1100 kawi tripple you'll need a different unit, I'm not sure which one, but the PDCIS-02T is single channel and it will not work with a tripple. I think you need a three channel unit to work on the tripple.

The 1100 is being sent to me to test and write a curve for so that’s the hold up. It’s coming but Good things take time. Regarding the 760 ignition. Not much to say they work and make good power. Happy days

Can you also do a couch curve? Want to put one in my zxi1100. :D

Thats a cool project, i love it. Yes I will do a curve for the couch ski as well. I was planning on writing a few curves for it.
The engine Im using is a fully ported 1100 with a 5mm stroker crank and 48 novis so it should go very hard. Harder than I can deal with anyway hahaha
