i dont see a problem with chipping in for the site if i could afford to go to daytona i would throw a fifty in the cup but i must say that i use blowsion and deal with john great to deal with and he bodgys the invoice for shipping reasons if others are willing to do that i would shop around may be a disscount for x users

The companies that I use (mostly) do not advertise here, will not advertise here, and do not post here.
That's the way it is - me whining isn't going to change it.
I buy with those companies because it is convenient, they are close, I know them, they know me, etc, etc, etc. There is a helluva lot more to a business relationship than a half inch banner on some website.

So here is an idea: I am a pretty heavy user of this site. Give me a link to donate, and I will donate money. It's the least I can do.

Please, there are so many of us who enjoy this site and REALLY appreciate all you guys do behind the scenes.

I am one of those quiet posters who dosen't really jump into the controversial threads. But I check this site everyday and would be a wreck if it went away.

the rest of us have spent money too....some more than others but the point is all of us have spent money.....


do you question when a non for profit such as a school football team asks for donations for the program for the season so they can afford new equipment and stuff? no, why because its for the passion of the sport.... the same thing applies here....

at least they had the grande huevos to ask for donations and advertisements and such..... whats the worst that could happen.... someone says no,,, big deal you move on to the next person....


and to put it into perspective for you..... u spent 5000 dollars going to freeride events this year...... i gave up 10 grand in scholarships to go racing for a year... which equates to roughly 4 times what you spent when you figure in loans and interest i had to take out in order to cover my tuition costs

it's all about the opportunity cost here..... what you sacrifice in one area to gain in another....... The founding fathers have put considerable time and effort in to making this site what it is, sure 35 bucks a month may not seem like much but they have bills mortgages, payments, just like the rest of us..

how about this.... next month (december) and the forseeable future.... i'll pay the 105 a month just so i have a place to come and read about a sport i am passionate about?

I don't even know anyone on this site really. I have met Paul and Kathy...and sat by Slutty at the addiction party...but I get a great deal of advice, help and pure entertainment from this site and I want to keep it around.
