The front tie downs are cheap generic tie downs from Walmart. The rear are from Dennis Kirk with the middle peg for the billet fitting. They are due to be replaced very soon.

I picked up a couple motorcross soft ties this weekend and i think they will work even better in the front. They are 15" long and combined with a carabiner or hook, will be the perfect length with no moving parts.

I also snagged another water tank with pump. It is a 10 gallon version with a smaller pump and was on clearance for $25. It was a return item cause the pump stopped working but I had it working perfect in half an hour. I had intended to install it under my truck somewhere and plumb it to the rear bumper as well as a sprayer under each door but even the 10 gallon tank is too big to jam in anywhere so I guess it goes on my bed rack or in the bed somewhere.

I also snapped a bunch of pics of Scott's modified Tiger Tote beach cart. He narrowed the bunks and added a winch.

Remind me and I will post the pics when I get home tonight or if you PM me your email addy, i can email them from my phone as well.

Dang that turned out really good. My tiger tote comes in on wednesday along with my blowsion order. Also should have my pipe back in about a week or 2 from getting ceramic coated and then finally my trailer in about 2 weeks. Ended up going with a 2 tone white in the front and metallic pewter on the back with aluminum wheels. Did a 6x12 since it was basically the same price to have a little extra room in the front. I will post pics of everything once I get it.

The guy who did the welding is the same guy building the stands I sell and is currently working on a prototype beach cart.

Hey OCD,

My trailer comes in this week. What big bolts did you use to anchor the 4x4's to the walls? Also did you just screw them in and call it good? Not sure what type of length a person should go with so you dont have to worry about hitting the outside panels.

I went to Lowes and bought 1/2" galvanized carriage bolts, I bought them too short so I had to drill out and countersink the 4x4's but it worked out good cause al my hardware is sunken into the posts where it can'r come in contact with anything else like the side of a ski or my flesh.

I couldn't see a screw or lag bolt working out right so I drilled right thru the skin of the trailer right to the outside. They really aren't structural so just don't tighten them down too much and suck in the outer skin of the trailer.

Hey OCD,

One last thing and I know it might have to wait until you are at home but would you be able to get a measurment from the back of the trailer to the first 4x4 and then also the width between the two 4x4's just to get a rough idea so I can get those mounted. After that I should be good.

Thanks again for all the help you have been.

No sorry, been swamped with other things and keep forgetting. Its pretty straight forward once you get into it though.

Sent from my Droid so spelling mistakes courtesy of Android keyboard.

LOL Nice. If you get time over the weekend to grab the dimensions that would be great. I probably wont start with construction on that until the following weekend so no worries.

Thanks OCD.

So Ive finished painting the interior of my ski trailer. And started installing the cabinets. I did a roll on epoxy flooring. I was going to go with lino but with the winters we have here I was worried about the floor lifting and the glue letting go in the cold temps. All I have left to do is build the bunks for the 2 skis. Scott from blowsion is sending me some sweet decals for the exterior of the trailer.
