Surfriding Fast Elements Presents the Carolina Beach Freeride at Freeman Park!!

I want to say thank you to everyone who came out this weekend and made this event happen! All in all I counted almost 40 skis and around 80 people came out this weekend, which in my opinion was amazing for a 1st time event!

This will now be a biannual event! Fall ride is being planned for mid September!

Scott this such and amazing awesome ride with tons of cool pepes that I really think it is going to be 150+ skis at some point very very soon! It is epic!!!!!! Flatwater guys will have a blast with a huge audience.....surf guys go out 500 yards and rock God knows what! 4 footers at least every day it seems like! Friggin natural V wakes from waves coming in at diff angles!

IMO this is going to be THE freeride of the East coast. It is the PERFECT spot! It reminds me of the West coast freeride pics I always see and wish I could go.....just raw rugged untamed beach with few rules and unlimited partying with no bars needed!!

Thanks for your help getting my trailer out Scott! I see why no trailers for sure. But hey we pulled it off this year....next time I'll figure something else out out.

Matt you can but you had to launch from the boat ramp and take a 10 min ride to the inlet. Waves get gnar out there.... Carolina beach has the best setup I ha r seen in a very long time. That's how it use to be in hatteras till our federal government wanted to be dik heads

From the discussions we had at the ride about the Outer Banks we came to the conclusion that they are pretty much totally anti jet skis due to it being federally owned land and not state owned. Alot of wildlife preserves and such.

Yeah Scott great job again, I can't wait for the next freeride. The waves where getting big Sunday but I was too scared to do anything as I cracked the hull and did a temp fix. Im happy to hear that you guys like the spot.

We went out and rode around 11:00 and it was picking up. It was choppy out there, but there were waves to ride

Question about the surf, it was choppy most of the weekend, but not bad, do you ever get clean rollers in there or does the sandbar keep it multi directional most of the time?

It was cleaning up Saturday afternoon and we had a great time riding and hanging out!

To all that helped Scott, Wilkey and all you crazy ass guys that camped next to Wilkey helped me pull the motor out of the ski on the beach even though didn't get it fixed good meeting you guys and see y'all next time

Zimmy we do get clean rollers in the inlet every once in a while when the wind direction is offshore but if you go another 100 yards over in front of masonboro farther to your left you get clean organized rollers much more often. Alot of people didn't venture over there during this event because they just didn't know about it!

Yea thanks for putting this on Scott. We had a great time and hope to be back in the fall. You couldnt ask for better weather and we got to meet a lot of cool people.
