FPD's "Floatorious P.I.G"

Make sure the stupid little pin-hole in the bilge 90 degree fitting is clear. This stops it from syphoning back into the engine compartment. I doubt this is your prob, but check it out while your in there.

Rode last Saturday with mike345, Dustin, x2Frank, AllDayJay & Lisa.......
Yes, water is still coming in. From where...I don't know. I'll figure it out eventually, but, it's not gonna stop me from riding while on vacation. That's why we have bilge pumps. lol.

Steering gave out. Got by with a motor mount insert...got me thru the day.

Got rid of the umi needle bearings. Installed OCD Solutions teflon alternative (via jetmaniac). Feels really nice in the driveway.

Can't bitch. Umi lasted 4 years with little maint. Just don't feel right about carbon steel in salt.

Wasted o-rings again. (the larger one under the turn plate). Getting tired of the whole UMI set-up. I've got one more spare. Gonna start searching for a better system. (yea, I know where that will lead...RRP) but open to other options.

Got a stubby pump cone from freestyle 650. Looks really nice, well made, with hardware & 0-ring. Gonna install & see what happens. Some say, (with my set-up) it will worsen cavitation issues, (any stubby) others say you just gotta try it....it's different with each ski.
Anyway, I think it's the last "bolt-on" short of a mag pump that I can add!

We will see!

Dan,the cold fusion set up is nice. You use the same nylon washers that the stock turnplate uses.l have been running mine a couple of months now.You even use the two stock nuts that lock together to keep it all tight.Simple but it works.

Finally found this pinhole...had to put on my glasses...lol. Clogged for sure! Reamed out with a wire. Thanx!

Got some blowsion straight bars thru Jetmaniac, along with a new primer plunger for each ski.
Helpful Hint: if the plunger is shooting fuel all over your hand when you use it, then it's probably bad!

I wasn't getting the usual "psht" air release noise when I unscrewed the fuel cap. Made me think there was a leak somewhere. YUP!
I know it's not a huge amount of pressure (in the fuel tank) but it's gotta help the fuel pump a little bit....
My primer is installed on the return line....the leak should not have produced a lean condition.

Figuring on installing stuff Christmas eve.

Finally installed steering and bars. An incredibly simple job! I love it already!
Pics are dark...it's dark!
