Freak jetski accident, damaged hull

FWIW, dual 33's on my 781 last forever on a cart tank...

LOL "don't want to be super gay with a big gas tank"

Who says that? Who ever said "man... Wish I didn't have all this gas!" "Damn.. I'm gonna have to chase boats all day before I fill up!" "Wish I had to worry about my ski running out of gas..."

Nobody...

Ever...

I'm not sure if all this is a teenager "I know everything, you can't tell me what to do maaaan!" Type thing to if it's just a Lodi thing. I recall some real winners on this site from Lodi... All of them have been banned.

Really? Lol I don't know anyone that's into freestyle skis in Lodi, it's a pretty small town, and I don't like the idea of a full sj tank, it seems like it would weigh down the front real hard

Don't worry about the weight. Like @Roseand said earlier. It's only 20 pounds. You can shave that weight with so many things. Get on a good diet and a lightweight battery. There's 20 lbs saved if you have been out of the gym a few months like some of us haha

Cody, you r only 15 min from Stockton. We have about 20 guys that all ride freestyle. Come out to windmill cove on any weekend or hit us up, we ride almost every day after work!

I like having more room to work with, and the hurricane it set up with the kart tank mounts and the pod is glued in
How often will you give a damn about having more room to work with???only time you need room up there is for installing a pole, waterbox, or removing your flywheel. You don't do that often.
If I were you and even if it was a new hull, and it was possible to fit a bigger tank, I would. Take out the pod, grind/cut out the mounts, and epoxy in @JetManiac UFO mounts for a bigger tank and call it a day. Just wait, you'll get sick of a cart tank. Chasing boat wakes with a ported piped 701 I go through a tank in slightly over an hour. I'd hate to have to fill up every 20 minutes.

That is one of the reasons I am running a cart tank. There is just so much more room to work with...easier to access everything. And honestly, if you arent tired after riding with a full kart tank, you arent riding hard enough!

The last Freeride I was at, there were quite a few people that couldn't even ride down the river where all the huge boats were because they had tiny little kart tanks. That's just lame.
