I'm sure with all of those specialty shops that will be present, somebody will have a motor to throw in it
Just have everything but the motor in it!

Is that puppy going to be at Wave Rave this summer?

For your reinforcing: Why did you add that bit of epoxy around the ribs? Just curious because I am going to start reinforcing this month, but am skeptical of grinding away the ribs. Did the epoxy you added just help the glass conform around the ribs better?

I know everyone says grind the ribs, but then I read people say grind the ribs and just throw one layer of mat or bi-axial on there, and it seems to me that if you grind the ribs before you put (one layer) of glass on, then it wouldn't even be much stronger than with the ribs...

Oh yeah buddy - 'stumpy Joe' will be there, and he'll be powered by 8mm stroker Lamey juice!

I added the epoxy around the ribs in order for the cloth to lay better.
After doing that, I would STRONGLY suggest grinding the ribs down.
I think with the right materials and layup schedule, you'll be just as strong (maybe stronger) by doing it that way. Plus, it looks sooooo much nicer when there is one nice clean layer of cloth in there.

Well, the stroker motor issues are all taken care of. I bolted it in the hull tonight. Now all I need to do is get the total loss all hooked up and get the stupid start stop switch to work. This is fun, right?
