Hand guns

That's a fairly valuable rifle...made in 1961/2 only

Yeah I know... the days when I find whatever new gun that I "must have" I mentally go through my inventory of guns to sell to fund that purchase and I keep mentally eyeballing that rifle. But like I said, father in law was awesome enough to give them to me, can't betray that.

Swapmeet-LOOK ON RUGER FORUMS!!! That gun is going for upwards of 3K for a really nice one!!!

Now with that said-don't ever sell that gun! The value will only go up and you have a true collector piece!!! Next time you see you FIL, you need to hug him!

Sweet Jesus are you serious!?!

Last time I looked it up it was a $600 gun. Maybe it isn't a deerslayer.

Im so busy/ lazy I don't feel like taking all my stuff out of my safe to look.

Thanks for the info tho, and the help. Guns tend to be my winter hobby, so maybe I'll dig it out then.

You have talked twice about how much of a pain it is to "dig" out the gun from the back of the safe. I want to know how big is the damn safe. lol Is it a walk in safe?

Yeah I think that is what mine is too Mark.

Haha I suppose it does sound that way. Its actually quite small, but i've accumulated a lot of Mosin Nagants and other rifles that I can't bring myself to sell (cause I won't get much for them anyway) but they take up a lot of room. Consequently its like a game of Jenga to get everything in and the door still being able to shut.

I keep telling myself that I need to get a bigger safe, but then I know i'll just fill it up with more guns...

Too many hobbies man. (Yes, another terrible problem...)

Honestly I have to cut something out of the mix. 2 Classic cars, Guns, Jetskis, just added a 4x4 Daily that i'm modding out.
And thats on top of everything else. Something has to give.

It actually makes it worse listing all that out.

Worst part of mine Is that my shoguns wont fit and scoped rifles make everything else fit funny. And ar and ak rifles arent tall enough to sit in there right and have to have boxes of shells to make them sit high enough to fit without falling over.

Don't cut out hobbies just work on one at a time. Once you get bored with it move onto one of your other projects. I havebeen bbuilding my off road subaru wagon and have pretty much pushed my ski out of the way as far as possible and really dont even have an interest in touching it right now.Too worried about roof lights and my lift kit . Once may hits tho I will be throwing in a new battery and the ski will finally get some love. If you dont have lots of hobbies then life gets dull quickly.

Yeah, I went out and rode once and broke my ski and i'm not really 'in a hurry' to fix it. So i'm glad to hear i'm not the only one.

In typical fashion, I was a little dramatic about pulling my rifle out of my safe.

So at lunch I took at look at it.... it's not a Deerslayer :(

This is next on my list, thinking about trading in my ruger sr9c towards it.

I have the Super carry pro currently and love it. Previously I had a Crimson Ultra carry and IMO the CT grips aren't very useful except at dusk or very low light.

But either way you can't go wrong IMO. Have fun breaking it in. So expensive.

No @Peter123, I was cleaning up my email the other day and found the confirmation email dated 2/24. I was like "oh.... Damn."

For some reason I thought I was farther along. It'll probably be fall before they are released I figure.
