That was my point, I suppose you missed it. Go get one using what they have. Go naked and armed with what you were born with and see whatcha get. I've always been super impressed with pleasure killing an animal using more than your bare hands. EDIT: .458 SoCom is a beast. Once again, just my opinion.

What if I just go naked? Most impressive setup I have seen is a guy I worked with would make his own arrow heads out of porcelain toilets as well as his own bow and arrows. Well maybe not that impressive since he bought the bow string and wore camo.

Too much gun for me bud! I like my guns in the rimfire realm. I use a 17 hmr for reachin out for yotes. I would save a 458 for a bear or a big dude comin into my house.

It makes a great hog hunting gun. I ended up selling it and buying jet skis during the gun craze. Even reloading it was costing 1$+ per bullet and brass is pretty hard to find.

Had some friends from Canada down for the weekend and took them to the local range where they could shoot their first handguns and even try out an AR, (or two or three). After running 200 rounds of 9mm and 300 rounds of .40 thru my personal guns, they started a tab and rented 3 different AR's, (223), several handguns and even a Beretta CX4 Storm carbine in .40.

Not including the 500 rounds I brought from home, they managed to rack up $225 in rental and ammo charges in under 2 hours.

Range fees: $30
Safety gear: $2
Targets: $6
Gun Rentals: $55
820 rounds of misc ammo fired in under 2 hours $252

The look on their faces when we were walking out...PRICELESS!!!

They both travel the world and currently live in Costa Rica so they have plenty of stories already but I took em out in the Florida surf for a day too. :)

I even showed them how to properly rinse and detail a surf ski. ;)

I picked up a Colt/ Umarex 1911-22 recently, it looks and feels almost exactly like a 1911.
Many of the 1911 accessories will fit it also.

But... I bought it mainly because it has a threaded barrel

Sweet. I traded the guy at the gun shop old motorcycle riding gear for a thread adapter for my walther p 22 so now I have 4 guns ready for my supressor. I really want to get my ithaca lever action and my Remington 512 done too but I always feel like im ruining the value of them when I do. I know they aren't worth much but the Remington is like 70 years old and I hate to mess up its cool oldness. Does that make any sense?

I know what this is, but your link no workie.

@mxmark4
Yeah, I get that.
I had a Ruger 10/22 with a bull barrel threaded this week, just because. It's a high mileage gun, and the bolt is crazy loud compared to that Colt 22 cycling.

But like others have told me... Once you get a can, you find yourself looking through you safe trying to figure out what else you can thread the barrel of.
I now have two scoped rifles and a pistol for my Sparrow.

I should have my Kimber Super Carry back this week. I can't friggen wait.

The more stuff you shoot supressed the more of them you want too. Im wanting a centerfire supressor now. If I get one big enough for 9mm its should handle 7.62x39 and .223 also? I know the rifle rounds are higher pressure but if I can get one that does all three im set.

The report of a 300 blackout from a pistol suppressor would probably still be uncomfortable. The YHM being a rifle suppressor would be much more effective, about 30% more cost if you choose titanium, 1/2" longer, much more versatile and warrantied by YHM for multiple calibers is why I brought it up.

9mm Luger is .350, 9mm Kurz is .380, so you are correct it would not work for you. For pistol guys the Osprey or another .45 suppressor would be a good choice for calibers ranging down to 9mm Luger I would assume as long as you verify with the manufacturer. In the case of .300 Blackout thru a .45 I'm pretty sure the .300 has a little more chamber pressure. I suppose I was on a different line of thinking. Glad you guys are enjoying Class 3.
