Hand guns

Its an atf form 4 I think to make your own. Or form 1 cant remember. But you have to submit plans showing the exact dimensions of your supressor etc.

The report of a 300 blackout from a pistol suppressor would probably still be uncomfortable. The YHM being a rifle suppressor would be much more effective, about 30% more cost if you choose titanium, 1/2" longer, much more versatile and warrantied by YHM for multiple calibers is why I brought it up.

Negative ghost rider

Negative what? The YHM drops the report of .308 to the low 130's (in the range of an unsuppressed .22). Pretty sure it can bring .300 down below the 120's but until they shoot a .308 thru a .45 Osprey and record we wont know. Point is made that the Osprey is OK'd buy the manufacturer to fire a few rounds of .300 thru it (how many can it take between cycles?), thanks for the demo and always verify with the manufacturer that a certain round is approved. For the size, price and weight I'll still run the junky ol YHM or Surefire which carry full auto rating and QD feature, thanks for the vid though. Hope you enjoy your purchase and have fun. Sure sounds different thru .308 can.
This is a good one too, YHM didn't fair to well IMO in this testing

Picked up my thread adapter for the walther this evening. Hard to beat the quality of a factory part sometimes and it included the thread protector.now I just need my can to hangon the end of it . Oh how I wish I had e filed my forms.

Got a letter from the atf today saying that my application for my supressor was incorrect. The girl at the gun shop said she had it all taken care of and I should be seei g my supressor in about two weeks. Hope shes right.

^^^what did you order and what date did you start the process, if you don't mind me asking/not going back 7 pages lol. You'll really enjoy it but it ends up costing you more money after you get it. You'll enjoy shooting a lot more and shoot more.

I started last august. Didnt know about the efile deal or I would have done that .gemtech outback 2d. If its here in the next couple weeks i would be estatic. Its such a wait but totally worth it.

@Peter123 said he e filed his and got it in 3 or 4 months. I remember giving him crap about his optimistic response time andhe got it back quick. The gemtech is user serviceable but you have to order an endcap removal tool from them. They also offer stainless and titanium baffles if you want to upgrade down the line. Heres a pic from the last time I shot it. 20140215_115338.jpg

My Kimber wasn't so easy. It doesn't have a barrel bushing so I had to have a bunch of fab done to a STI barrel.

I looked and had 2 gun smiths look. There was no easy way to do it.
But it's done.

Most common brands do have AM options available though, that is correct.

TBH... I'm a little disappointed.

I put two magazines through it yesterday and my ears were ringing for an hour. Not deafening, or a massive ringing. Just a little annoying.

Also, I've been getting a lot of blow back. Not sure how to remedy that. Doing research. I have not shot the can wet yet, obviously that might take the sting off the report, but I would assume I'm gonna get more blow back.

So yeah... shooting it has been uncomfortable. I'm hoping I can get it sorted out. I just assumed 'subsonic round + good suppressor = big fun no ear pro' and that hasn't been the case.

Edit* just read that it might be a worn out recoil spring. Ordering an upgrade. *crossing fingers*

Well hell. Send it to me I guess. I was explaining to my neighbor how first round pop works tonight and I think I was blowing his mind. Sorry its not working out awesome. My ears always ring thanks to tinnitus so I know the feeling. Not sure about blowback but I rarely get to shoot bigger round cans. hopefully shooting it wet will help.
