So does this mean that once again, Hollywood is full of crap and has given us a false expectation of what a silenced weapon sounds like?

.22 report is pretty accurate to what Hollywood projects. So it's not completely off base.

Btw...
I just edited my post. Looks like I might be dealing with a worn recoil spring. So I ordered a upgraded Wilson Combat unit that's supposed to last 10x longer than factory.
So we'll see.

I am a huge fan of the Wolff Spring kits myself. Heavier recoil springs and lighter trigger and hammer springs. Did wonders for my FEG p63.

I just ordered a kit each for my 92, 96 and 8040 but the Sig P226 is spot on in DA and SA.

My .22 is awesome after the second shot. I havent tried it wet yet but will as soon as it comes home. Im hoping that shooting it wet and with subsonics will keep the first rou nd pop down so the critters wont know where it came from. As far as bigger guns go the last 9mm I shot supressed was also full auto and indoors so it always seems louder than it really is.

So since getting into jet skis last spring I have had zero desire to go shoot or reload. :( Have even considered selling/trading my long range beauty for an a/m hull.

Injury, reason I sold my carbon ROK and Kawi/Dasa drivetrain. Got a pair of Blasters sitting here with brand new ported motors too. Long story, hopefully some resolution will come. You guys enjoy yourselves.

Mark,
I shoot subsonics through a Savage MKII and there is no FRP, likely because the fire doesn't reach the can.

I've used canned air to eliminate FRP with full speed ammo through my pistol.

Sparrows have a pretty vicious FRP from what i've read and experienced.

With ghe gemtech its noticeable hut not terrible. Since its nothome yet, I havent really been able to shoot it with any subsonic ammo.with hi vvelocity round s it was still surprisingly quiet. I have lots of subsonic shorts that I am looking forward to shooting once I get my sports master threaded.they are pretty quiet as is coming out of that gun so I want to see how much better it can get.

I took the kids out for a bit this morning. The new Cougar is an instant favorite. It's a heavy gun for it's size which makes it shoot very smooth with minimal kick. I bought the full sized Beretta's thinking they would be more accurate but am finding the opposite. I think with practice, they can be more accurate at further distances but for simple defense, a shorter barrel is more than effective enough.

What safe?

I have never been one to collect just for the sake of collecting. Everything has a place or a purpose. I actually think I am 2 guns heavy right now though but am having a hard time picking which two to sell. One of them will get replaced with a 9mm carbine, most likely the Beretta CX4 Storm because all my mags will interchange.

Here is my new motivation to free up funds... I want to have this or something like it, sitting in my garage by christmas.
