I doubt its crap. But I agree he's using his name to sell stuff. But I would do the same thing if I could. I mean, he gets to build full auto guns, and sell them and make a sick profit. Why does that suck?

Well we had a lot of fun today. My middle son shot his Ruger ST9E very well. We're all newbies to handguns, but the times have changed and we're trying to keep up. So the kid with his 9 and my 17yr old daughter with my old Browning Buck Mark .22. It was her first hand gun experience and she made us work hard in a "horse" game. We shot off 3 times before I finally got her. But honestly it was a bit of luck for me. Didn't have my glasses on lol! I just picked up a XDM 9 compact 3.8 last weekend. Super fun gun for me. Way more accurate than my old s n w .40 that I traded in on this one. Anyways, we had a lot of fun today. Looking forward to more times out with the Fam. Already thinking of trigger work on mine lol! Great thread by the way.

Compared to other all billet AR's the Nomad may have a 20-30% name premium I suppose. Very good (insert exspensive) barrels and parts kits. Labor intensive "skeletonize" machining adds to cost too. Not on a list to purchase, just thought the Nomad was pretty kool. Slides on his 1911's are hand forged by him Damascus steel. 3 days to make the billet he says. Uses locally sourced STI frames. Not sure if his suppressor claims are realistic, claims 10db reduction over competitors, but hey options aren't a bad thing.

I'm a Glock guy myself but as with any gun you need to try a few on and see what just feels right. I have a pretty good collection from a number of manufactures and they all have their pros/cons. For concealed carry, I have been carrying a G-27 for years and it's been great. I recently picked up a G-42 and what a difference in size and weight!! Not the smallest .380 out there but to me it's by far the most comfortable! I can't wait for the 9mm model to come out because it will be the next addition to my collection!

My mom carries a p238 and loves everything except the trigger pull. It's very heavy and it's apparently a widespread issue.

Still, a miniature 1911 I'm 9mm is awesome no matter how you slice it. I want one to carry for when my 1911 is too big to properly conceal, but it's tough to justify spending $700 on a second carry gun, and $35-40/ mags.

ha ha ya swapmeet it was more than i wanted to spend on a gun for her, but what can i say, my wife has expensive taste. I got hers for 650 with an extra mag.... Thats a bit much for a concealed carry gun but it got her to finally start carrying wherever she goes. You cant put a price on that :)

Still just carries her kimber juice shooter....Pepper blaster ll
What's the secret, probably a smaller piece huh.
I wish she carried all the time.

Dirtybird-Have you looked at the Kel-Tec P3AT? Less than 3/4" thick with built in belt clip. She would probably have issues at first manipulating the slide in case of malfunction, but like you said, maybe the size would encourage her to carry. There is a model a tad larger that is chambered in 9mm Luger you may want to look at too. Whatever you can do to encourage her to carry is a good move imo too. They even make them in Pink ha ha . Good luck and have fun http://www.keltecweapons.com/our-guns/p-3at/pistol/

I've bought my wife 3 different carry guns, the last (and one that she likes the most) is a M&P9. I even got her a very nice horse hide holster from a custom maker here in North Texas. She still wont carry it on her person. Sometimes in her purse or the car.

Honestly i think Glock screwed up by making a compact pistol that is still the same width as the full size glocks. I'm a small guy but i even have a tough time concealing mine, just because of how thick it is. I had my wife hold a million different guns before she finally found one that she liked the feel of. Force your wife to visit a gun show with you and make her hold everything lol. Maybe she will find a gun she likes
