Got to put about 100 rounds through both these Sigs today. 9 and .45. Good friend in Ft Lauderdale belongs to a kick-azz gun range, Nexus. Tons of fun. It's like a candy store in there. Gotta say...there is a difference between guns. Smooth, reliable and accurate. Me wants both.

My wife has a sig p938. Such a nice gun. So expensive though...It was the only one she liked and is willing to carry so I spent the extra money to get it.

Looking for an answer I can't find on Google.

Moving to Florida in 3 weeks and was wondering what the requirements are for length of residency before purchasing a firearm? I know I need a Florida drivers license which I plan to do within a few days of moving.

Looks like you only need to be a Florida resident. There is a 3 day hold once you make the purchase though for background to clear.

Why is there a 3 day hold? That's such BS that they make you do that. Our background checks come back in 15 minutes. It takes longer to buy a cup of coffee sometimes than it does an AR-15 with 1000 rounds, a glock, and a shotgun

There's a 3 day hold (cool off) on handguns iirc. With a florida ccw permit there is no hold.


Much better than 9 months to 1 year permit wait in nys and having buy your handgun, to then go downtown to have the gun's # put on your permit and then back to the gunshop to verify.

Funny thing is you can go into a Walmart here and buy a shotgun/rifle but they don't carry hand guns.

Yes with a permit you go in and walk out with your purchase. Should've cleared that in my post. Sorry for the misleading info.

We don't have to have a permit to buy a hand gun instantly in my state. It's surprising considering we are a damn swing state with peace loving gun fearing hippies everywhere. My permit is the second amendment. When will these retard politicians get that through their thick skull?

Hey guys, my wife's cousin Branden (same name as mine but he spells it wrong lol) just started a company making custom Kydex holsters and other holsters. I got one for my glock 43 and love it! I wouldn't be recommending it here if I didn't. Please check out his site www.kondition1.com and consider supporting one of the little guys in the industry :) he's a great guy!

He doesn't know I'm posting this so if you contact him and mention the X he is going to have zero idea what you are referring to lmao.
