great lookin ski can't wait to see video
When you want to do the turf man? l need to spend some time on mine, but maybe tonite or tomm we can do it.
Running that Cone/mag Hooptie on a stock FX pump or a 144? Curious how well it works.
So far so good.
Can you elaborate? I have a 144 pump in the FX i'm building. I can't swing a aftermarket pump so i've been very curious as to what these bring to the table.
Great looking build Horne! Did Sano get you this 5200 I ordered? Thanks for the loan, my tubbies are on, but thats it! Dang brain surgery! BTW Boone Lake guys, got some Dirty Water Bikers shirts ordered, im sure they will be ready before my ski will be! haha. I do have that Kawi I can ride as soon as I get turf on it, but the SJ with the Group K 850 is going to take a while! Dang!!!!
Oh yea, how did you get that yellow pipe John?
Chris
Just bustin ur chops. I'll get it sometime this weekend. You betta work on that waterlawg kustom...
It's a Kaw X2 pump, 140mm. So far so good.
I couldn't stand it anymore so yesterday I stuck a temporary piece of turf on the tray and got wet for little while. I drank jetmaniac's blue kool-aid back in Dec. and yesterday I finally got a taste. wow! I'm super impressed and I'm not even close to having it dialed in. Pulls hard! and my favorite thing is that when I push the green button,...... it runs. haven't touched a screw on carbs yet.
One thing I wasn't satisfied with was my cooling setup. Waterbox wasn't getting enough water. I had single cooling run to a "T" then in each side of my manifold. Pressure seemed too low. Exhaust would sometimes exit from pisser. So I ditched my factory bilge and ran a second line from the pump last night. Hopefully I'll get to test some more this evening.
Pump & trim setup seems to work flawless. Hook-up is killer. Didn't notice any cavitation. All things considered, a good 1st ride on my new ski. As If I needed another reason to celebrate yesterday. :smokin:
No way!! John, glad you'll be OK, but that really sux. I hope you heal quickly. It would take alot for a ski to not be fixable, but that's not important at the moment.
