And my hardware...

The best news is.. I found water in my foam. So this gives me ample time to resurface the bottom of the ski, shorten the hull a few inches, refoam the tray, install some bob adjustable footholds, front toe hold, reinforce the nose and paint the ski... So I guess it worked out..

Wow so many injuries. I think im basically indestructible. I jet ski, ride sport bikes and did MX as a kid. I've only had one injury, a partially torn tendon in my shoulder when I crashed a dirt bike. Not even enough to get me out of work. Worse I got jet skiing was bruised ankles and a couple times I had to curse the pain away. I landed a few times on top of the Superjet.. I know newb mistake to let go. Hm, after rereading this post I think I need to knock on wood, it seems to have worked all these years.

Just remembered this post. Wow! I said this back in September. I think I should've went to knock on wood I seriously jinxed myself there. See a few threads down about my motorcycle crash. Oops :lmao: I think I should stop telling people nothing can kill me!

Nice hardware sethrrogers! Thats quality stainless steel the surgeons use.

Thank you sir! Never thought I'd need nuts and bolts lol. I too had made the comment that I was indestructible... Then I too totaled my cbr.. Add to tht. I always knew its be a nose stab or barrel roll ATTEMPT that got me!

Haven't thought about this in years but here we go...1993 i was with bro and a friend riding our three 550s. We where using a stick in about 4' of water as a buoy to race around. We all drag raced about 300' then I was leading put down a leg to turn around the stick and race back when one of the guys hit me in the chest full speed. I immediately was knocked out. My brother held me up from drowning while the other guy went to call 911. The firemen rescued me by boat and I was pounced dead in the ambulance but brought back in the emergency room. I woke up days later with all my ribs broken in 39 places and pieces of rib in my heart, spleen, lungs and liver. I had a breathing tube for about a month and several surgeries but made a long full recovery and rode again at the end of the same summer. Every doctor and nurse would say " you will never ride again" but I was on a mission to prove everyone wrong and later ended up racing snow-x for years as well. I'm 43 now and can't imagine not riding and enjoying all of my hobbies epically with my kids.

I like this thread....
Torn rotator cup. Busted ear drum. Lots of sprains and bruises and a broken leg from a guy that ran over me with his couch.

This thread is not good for the sport... :)
I think that it actually makes it a little more intriguing that there is a real risk of danger. Let's face it we are all wired a little different any way. I get nothing from a roller coaster mostly because I know it's a controlled environment. I had taken a few years off riding skis ( mostly due to kids and time) and we showed up at Daytina 8 years ago I had a superjet went out for 5 seconds and Pancake Pete went HUGE about 10' from me and fell off. I helped him back to his ski and was instantly hooked again. You just can't dwell on the injury thing or you will never help the sport progress.
