I have a question...

are you guys using 9mm or 26mm in these areas?

Area#1:

Inside wall of the foot hold...

i tried 26mm but it was really tight and tough to fit...it kinda pushed the inside of my foot under the outside part of the wing

I then used 9mm plush and that was much better...i tried to find some pics of others but couldnt really tell from the photos

Are you guys running any padding on the inside wall of the foothold or just 26mm top and bottom?

Area#2:

Not really a critical area but this photo is just in front of the foothold wing and being the front foot hold.

I laid down 9mm but I thought maybe I should have used 26mm instead...

What are you guys putting in this area(just the walls only)?

random pics of my new adidas boat shoes...lime green

They are very light, major drain holes everywhere. I tried to take photos of the light shining through them but it doesnt show up so well.

They dont seem like they will hold up very well but well see. I do like the sole and it's thickness/cushion.





I this dark green stitched strap may be a weak point on the shoe, once i start kicking on the footholds

we shall see...

shoe size : 7 to 7.5

I am going to put 26 on top and bottom

I tried top and bottom but tapered it so I could get my toes in farther, it was way to tite even for my banana feet.

I had this shoe saleswoman at the mall say this to me...

"I am really sorry, but the lowest size in that shoe is a men's 9. I know your a grown man and I don't want to offend you sir, but they have the same exact show in the boys husky section." True story + like $20.00 cheaper ha!

You have midget feet but it depends a lot on the thickness of the sole those shoes have. Wrestling shoes have very thin soles and I run 26/26 in the holds and it's tight. I haven't tried but I imagine regular shoes wouldn't fit well

I think those Adidas have a little more material to em. 26 and 26 should work. Glue it all on minus the turf and slide them shoes in there and you can probably judge it by that.

I am not a midget or dwarf or little person..ha ha

but I do love game of thrones for sure!

If it gets too tight, I can always go back to the wrestling shoe for sure

must be nice, my rn i couldnt really run any padding. i wore DC's but i wear a 12.5-13. my feet were always in pain. but the holds seemed small to me. now i have the adjustable bobs so im padding the crap out of em.

Looks like your build is coming along nicely!!! Cheryl and I have been wearing out her new RZR XP900 and having a blast, BUT, I am really anxious to ride my ski
again SOON!!! I worked on my ski all day today anticipating my new motor getting here in the next 7-14 days. I had to make a battery box so I can relocate it, still
working out the bugs on my 4 gallon fuel cell situation, and re-wired my total loss so it should be good to go for another 4-5 years with no issues.

I have decided that I am just going to do the same

Top: 26mm
Bottom: 26mm
Inside wall: 9mm
Outside wall: 26mm( this is the part where the outside of ur leg rest up against the gunwales)

DO NOT happen to cut your fingernails too short and then decide to go turf a ski...

i highly suggest that you wait till they grow out

I just made this mistake and like 6 of my fingers killed me over the weekend...they are super tender today...sucks

gaps on my rails on both sides...i will close them up with black silicone...

turfing is damn stressful for one person who doesnt know what they are doing:



Nose came out ok:
