Thrust trim lever that came with the setup
2 different throttle levers I can choose from but I actually like stock for hood tricks and stuff...well see

Anyone run these throttle triggers? Just the KVPI vs. the UMI
Pros and cons??
Anyone prefer stock?

I think jetmaniac uses the KVPI one and I was surprised of how nice it was when trying his freak. On my ski I use a TBM adjustable one which I really like a lot.

its all personal preference, you just have to try them and see how you like it... but I also like the KVPI the best. I have tried a couple dif kinds of turn plates.. did not like my UMI, have an x-metal that I like, and had RRP that I also liked. Dont think I could really tell the difference between the two when i was out on the water. Dont think you can really go wrong with any of them.

it is against all aftermarket hull ethics to do hood tricks on a superfreak, I have never seen it done either...just sayin.

Hush your mouth! THats why I want a SF. I'm pretty dam sure a SF allows you to flip, roll, AND do hood tricks!!! LOL

I may just get a UMI rebuild kit and run the blowsion phat clamp set-up and purchase some riser bars.

this way I can test out both straight and riser set-ups without buying another full steering system.

Steering and trim is not finalized

Had some issues with the trim...I have never installed one and didnt pay attention to it when I pulled it apart!

**There is an adjustable block that holds the return spring(mounted to one of the long pump bolts)**

It is hitting my reduction nozzle where I have the brown sharpie.

Are you guys grinding this block down?

that is an adjustable stop that is adjusted to stop nozzle/ring in position.

ski looks great, like the silver/black

I will be doing hood tricks...

that's what I learned first and they are cool to me...

adds in a little more fun too...

Look at Jeremy Parr, his freestyle routines are bad azz!!! He combos old school along with new school and I dare say everyone LOVES it!!! I personally think Parr is the most well rounded rider on the planet!!!

Your skis looking good. looks like 2 silver skis riding hugo.

alright alright...

I see the jeep in the background too...

I used to have an '88 Wrangler Sahara Edition...dark olive green with the tan interior and tan hardtop...I cant believe that I sold it but it was many years ago...

I was thinking about picking up another one this year.

Ski is clean...I dig it

See you one the water soon.

Flatwater hood tricks can be very fun..

And you said it...it makes you a better rider because you're well rounded

hood hoses installed...

used 2.5 hoses but made the holes a little smaller to squeeze them in nice...they only go in two rows worth but it's tight...

i measured using the step-down portion as you can see by the calipers...went with the 2.5 since the shop has a hole saw that six

i made a high tech, laser guided tape system to determine spacing with the tank and engine in...just made intersections labeled 1 and 2 to figure out where I want my hoses to run...there's more room in the freak than a stock RN SJ it seems...the motor is more set back

then put the hood on, match up the tape lines, and ran tape to the inside making intersections ago...crude but it worked

...DONT try this at home...

Cold Fusion mount...

I decided not to use run the bolts through the CF mount and into the ebox...this would have required me to pull them out to remove the ebox and it is a pain to do so...

in order to go through the mount and then the box...those bolts have to be right on which is a major hassle IMO...

Although I mocked it up, I may just ended up running the stock brackets if there's room...

CF mounts works though...just not as ideal as I thought once I started to work with it.

again...just my opinion

built my limiting strap...JM goodies...
used a zip tie for my flame arrestor....I have had it turn on me doing deep subs..

zip tie gun is essential...has a lever that cuts the zip tie once u get it tight

Trying to find some way to install a fire extinguisher...I will find a way
( it will fit in front of the waterbox...I have already tried so I may run it this way...although I cant get to it, at least I can say I have one

and just for the record...I have been asked by marine patrol 3 times if I had one...Yes to each time, but they never checked

flow control valve- sent JM a text to ask about the extra washers to change the pressure. he hit me back very fast on a Sunday. Then I remembered that the package was already labeled with 'do not install washers'...That's what happens when u rush things...
