What's that "push button" knob on ur bpipe? Is it some sort of change return or soap dispenser?

That is a 10/32 extended point thumb screw ( just like the factory pipe Allen head) . My top adjuster was a little wallowed out so I replaced it . I had to swap the ltd chamber for the mod so I'll be adjusting it often to find the sweeth spot. No more Allen heads to hold while tightening the jam nut. It works great for 6 bucks . Try it you will like it .

The tweeker is ALIVE ! I got her wet this afternoon. Really satisfied with the ride. It's very stable and rails turns . It may be a little to tight, but keep in mind it was tested on silky flat water. I think it will loosen up in the surf. I not planning on trimming the rails down until I get it in the salt.

Prelim mod review

1. Rocker..... fo sho . This mod will pay dividends on a surf ski flat water ski not worth the time IMO .

2. Rear rocker.... I think I some what negated the effect By my rail mod . I went 3 1/4 at the widest part. May end up trimming the sides down to loosen it up .

3. Home grown sponsons ...... Knocked it out of the park. They handle great zero chine walk at any speed and very predictable.

4. 1 inch lower and wider try ..... IMO if you are refoaming it's a no brainer.

5. Adjustable foot holds.... Don't know but I'll tell you when I get them set and want to adjust them to fine tune.

6. 1.5 inch shorter bottom deck .... I think you could go shorter with no problem , but I went safe due to the rear rocker.

7. Top deck 1.5 further forward .... Creates some bulkhead issues ,but helps balance out the rocker . It also opens up the motor area , You can pull the tank much easer literally in less about 2min.

All in all the real test will be salt. I think it's a big improvement from the traditional SJ platform and can see no down side at this point .... wydopen might even agree ..... I said might

Pic 1 is the tray area (no sh$!) well I made an adjustment so you no goofy types will be at home . The Front foot hold will go from gunwale to gunwale . You whale pockets on each side and the middle .

Pic 2 our our next door neighbors yard jockey (only ramp I could get down ) . The water is still low due to the spillway repairs . O is that the area 51 in the foreground ....... I believe it is .

We had great surf today!
I tried to make this ski pearl, aiming it straight down some steep faces, it just won't do it.
It turns very well, but different.
Kev freaking nailed it! IMG_0911.jpgIMG_0914.jpgIMG_0910.jpgIMG_0916.jpgIMG_0908.jpgIMG_0909.jpgIMG_0915.jpgIMG_0906.jpg

My fav is pic 5 .... Classic Olan Mills pose . I'm real pleased with the hull certianly worth the effort. The biggest improvement is the height and length of the rocker in front. Foot holds we're very comfortable . The adjustability takes a little effort ... Not as simple as sliding them on a rail , but worth the effort. It turns very well not grabby just carves . I really want to loosen it up a little more but not in a hurry...... Gotta study on it .....

Over all great performance for a hull experiment .... Very poor proformance from the rider... FYI building /wrenching do not build riding endurance .

Special thanks to scots s for the 15 min xmetal spring install and accamadations ! Also a shout out to his tollatent wife and supurb hostess for living in a jet ski frat house . Thinks for the review and pics WAB . One down one to go .... Then I'm going to just ride..... Done wrenching for a while ...... Almost burned out.

Bruce, first of all forget the morons that posted all the smack... I'm very satisfied with the ride. I think I could refine it in two areas .

1. I cut it 1.5 inches in the rear . I truly think I could go -4 and it would liven it up a little. Very stable

2. Might trim the rails down a bit ( the portion that turns down) or re do them to 2.5 wide un decided.

Over all very satisfied . Worth the effort .... Plan on make a few refinements this winter depending on time.

Just a little up date . Did a little 3 set surf session last weekend . I think the general consensus by my self and other riders is to loosen the ski up a little by trimming the 90 degree section of the rail. I want it to slide a little easer and be a little more slashy . Still loving the stability , I think it's a winner for the occasional surf rider .

I really felt like I was getting the feel of the ski as far as control this time out. I certainly had more endurance ...... It should be noted that I've been on a very STRICT diet and training regiment .

It laid down after the storm .... knee slappers with the occasional good smooth set . Tem and I were the last to come in ... it was worth staying out . We kept say just one more set . I came in on fumes .
