Weeeeeelll.... things are not going as I would have liked with the painting. Im not a painter and im not paying anyone to spray it..... So i guess i have it cumming. We got a good coat on the bottom yesterday ,but had trouble covering some thin primer areas . Decided to re prime a couple of spots on the top deck / hood last night and spray the rest today. Of course I had to block and prep the hull and hood again.
Great friggin plan right ? Yea , right up until I knocked the hardner off the work bench After mixing the first pot. Moth&%$#ing son of a female dog . There was no way to cover the top deck with that amount of paint . I decided to punt , nothing worse than getting almost done and run out of material. The only color yellow seems to cover is the same color yellow. I just added another week before I can start wrenching. I'm not to happy ...
For all you guys that do body work for a living .... My deepest sympathy ..... You poor bastards. It's a dirty ,dusty ,un forgiving ,frustrating profession as far as I can tell.

Yeah it's a 10 footer alright... hitting the water... I suppose just because I have a little paint on it everyone actually expects me to finish it. I will probably get it home mid next week. I would love to hit the water in two.
