Wish my pump shoe went in that easy!
I wouldn't call this install easy. Took a good 7 hours with all the drilling and fitting...and a dog vet visit in between.

Did you just have to elongate the holes on the pump ears or both the reduction nozzle and pump?
I had to drill out everything yes. The stainless steel was insanely hard. Went through a ton of bits and rasps.

Go to page 14, we've already covered coupler removal ;).
Hah, I want to know if I can specifically use a OEM style tool or if aftermarket one will work for everything.

Nice video!
Looks like you got it perfect. That alignment is better than 99% of all skis on here. The other 1% are perfect like yours. Great job! You'll be much more happy with that pump/trim set up.

Nice video, great job!

It's probably fine, but I install the alignment tool while doing shoe install, to insure driveshaft left and right is prefect center. I also do the install with the ski on saw horses, so you can get under it and your not working on the ground.

When you do your final install of the pump, be sure to have the alignment tool installed. You may already know that, just trying to help ;).

Ya, I'm sure it's fine, I didn't see her look in the bilge when they were doing the final glue in.
The tool was installed, there is a TON of footage I didn't include heh. Would have made for a boring video seeing all the fitting, pulling the pump, griding, installing the pump, etc.

And a little secret...my 11 year old Xeon server machine can't actively render the sped up HD footage so I just have to guess at what it will look like once it is rendered. So you guys and I get to discover what is in the video once it is posted hahaha.

Yeah gotta be nice having the ski with you instead of 30 minutes away in storage...

Ahhhhhhh I didn't realize that lol

but that's why her build thread > yours

She being in TX will still hit the water before you do, why rush it?

This is true on the first statement. Love me a good Krash bash

Negative on the second lol we ride all year. There is no such thing as a "winter build" at our house lol

I'm trying to keep this thread more for documenting the process.

To be honest the hull itself, so far, is astoundingly straight for an aftermarket offering.

Krash's parts and assembly on the other hand could use some work. Clean that part up and winning!

I ordered some misc clamps and such from McMaster today. Thinking about ditching the OE SJ tank for the fuel cell Blowsion sells.

One thing I forgot to ask about is how to mount the ebox?
