I'm really impressed so far, I admire people that can do nice body work because I suck at it! I just don't have the patience.

Thank you, hopefully all the work will pay off in the end. To be honest I dont have a clue what that rubber part is for, its an SBT housing though.

Trimmed the gunwales to what I am thinking will be the final shape and laid out the cut line for the front rocker. Any opinions?

I was thinking about cutting this section out of the top deck, pie cutting the bottom deck every 2 inches or so where its needed and then folding it up to meet the line in the top deck.

I did a rough trim on the ride plate the other day so I decided to fit it up to the hull and see how it looks at full length. It almost makes me want to try making a hull extension that I could play with. I also laid out some cut lines in the bottom deck for the rocker. I'm not sure where to start and how much I can get away with, I dont want to loose the ability of running my cold fusion tank. I think tomorrow I'm going to sand the inside of the hull and then start doing some cutting on the nose. Ill have to do a mock-up with the engine and tank to see how far I can go. I should probably clean up a little while I'm at it, this garage is a disaster! LOL

I dont plan on cutting all of the lines, the back ones are just a reference to keep things squared up. I'm thinking maybe the first 10 at the very most but that might even be extreme. I guess I'll know more once I get everything dropped in.

Finally got the tray area reinforced. 2 layers of biax along the sides and 1 layer of carbon with 4 layers of biax along the back. I used a little bit of white pigment at first but it made it difficult to see air bubbles and when the fiberglass was fully wet out. I decided to ditch the pigment when I did the 2 layers on the sides.

2 layers of carbon on the tail section to get the shape. Planning to reinforce this area and connect it down along the back with around 4 layers of biax next.

Just finished working on the nose! Please excuse this absolute mess of a garage again, I'll clean it one of these days.

Any opinions? I like how the decks are lining up, but have been considering cutting one more relief in the bottom deck to ease the transition a bit. Once I get the shape figured out I will have to trim off the overhanging portion of the rail and build up a new one.
